So what about the whole-signs house system?

William 'Scoper' The Lilly notes: "either Jupiter or the Sun do much fortunate this house when they are positied therein; Saturn or South Node usually deny honour, as to persons of quality, or but little esteem in the world to a vulgar person; not much joy in his profession, trade or mystery, if a mechanic"

I have Sun and Jupiter in the 10th on whole-signs,

but do not in the placidus system - In which I have Saturn and Venus.

By the way, planets that are powerful doesn't mean that they are beneficial. For example, a strong Saturn or Mars can increase its malefic effects. A strong Sun can mean an over inflated ego, etc.

The natal chart needs to be objectively looked at, and not just looking for good things. Good charts are rare to come by.

My chart is kinda good for that matter.

Also to JUPITERASC: What profession? I'm 16 years old if you guys didn't know and surely don't have a profession yet. What I have observed is a creative talent and a very serious approach to work. This could be true even if the Sun and Jupiter were in the 10th, because the Sun/Saturn midpoint is almost exactly the Midheaven.
