Deceptive in what way?
Any real life examples??

Every Taurus I've known. But in particular my father and brother. Both players and bullshi**ing their way through life. But yeah, all of them. This one Taurus who was client was brilliant at fooling ppl in the casino and made money from itm then my former boss lying to all of us employees about pretty much everything everyday. The main reason was for protection. Lying to protect oneself and their position. The list goes on. Oh, and that's why Taurus's are brilliant actors. They can bullsh*t their way through anything and then laugh about it later.

'Yes'......why.....because taurus is part of the axis of scorpio and when scorpio is 'pissed off'...they are 'manipulative'.....further to this.....ALL FIXED signs have a mark of manipulative personality........this is because you have to understand, how 'fixed' signs work/play, they thrive in the environment they create, they are not looking to change or future plans/dreams, like a cardinal, or 'waxing and waning' like a mutable, who at there best, will mutate and be flexible....to, maybe a fault, FIXED DO NOT MOVE.....ARE NOT FLEXIBLE.......ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THE FUTURE DREAMS OF THEMSELVES OR OTHERS.......THEY ARE FIXED.......THEY ARE THE EARTH.....TAURUS........FIRE.........LEO.......WATER.......SCORPIO..........AIR.......AQUARIUS, THEY ARE.......TAURUS.....RULED BY VENUS,.....LEO, ....RULED BY THE SUN,..........SCORPIO,....RULED BY MARS ...AND ...PLUTO...,AQUARIUS,....RULED BY......SATURN AND URANUS........
ALL OF THESE SIGNS.....FIND A WAY TO 'MANIPULATE THERE ENVIRONMENT ..
THEY ARE WORKING WITH WHAT THEY HAVE.......WHEN TIMES ARE HARD...THESE SIGNS RULE..........DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THERE POWER FOR DULLNESS OR STAIDNESS.........
THEY ARE THE ROCKS, THE 'SOMETHING' we need to cling to.......
I welcome uranus in taurus...........welcome the 'bull'....

Oh come. Aries is the game player to win and will do anything g and Taurus is downright deceptive. Frisiangel described it perfectly. The opposing sign unconsciously shows the quality of the sign.

Well, we have to agree to disagree. I can see the opposite sign of Aries (Libra) and the opposite sign of Taurus (Scorpio) being manipulative but not Aries and Taurus itself.

Hahaha lol, now that is funny. Perhaps you have harmonious aspects to these signs so they don’t feel the need to trample all over you.

But I will point this out. If I look at all the charts of Aries and Taurus ppl who were difficult with me, they had a few hard aspects to Pluto in their natal. That’s probably where all that manipulation came from. Like a lot of Aries and Taurus from my generation have Pluto opposition sun. And in my natal I’m Pluto in libra. So there quite a clashere, which is same for Capricorn which squares Pluto. So there’s more to it than just a sign.

I'm tempted to say: YES! as I've experienced that from a couple of Taureans but of course.......no, not necessarily. It depends on the the rest of the chart and how the person expresses the potentials therein.

Archetypical Taurus energy, no.

With Pluto afflictions to personal planets, yes.

This is a example of getting out of simplistic Sun sign assessments into the whole chart.

One thing I did notice over the years were common Taurean MOs in romance. They tend to befriend many women as friends, seemingly as if they have no agenda. Yet the no-agenda is the agenda, and they are not that innocent. It lets the women loosen their guard and get comfortable before they eventually and slowly move closer. So they aren't truly friends. Its a pattern I've noticed as an common Taurean MO. Signs like Scorpios have their own MOs. Yet in all cases, the native had Pluto afflictions to personal planets.

So being friends with a girl you like before taking it to the next step is manipulative???!!

Weird.

Lol. I never said it was manipulative. And I do not know what this observation happen to trigger in anyone reading it.

If this is anyone else's MO, I am not judging. But let's not put words in my mouth or make a neutral observation into anything personal.

My observation is that Taurus is not as straightforward as it seems. I've observed a certain MO in the way it gets what it wants.

If one wish to analyze the underlying mechanisms, I believe it has something to do with the sign being ruled by Venus.

Aries and Scorpio are ruled by Mars. It will just go for what it wants by action. But Venusian energy slows down things a bit. It wants to be harmonious. It doesn't want to be too obvious. It wants to attract. It doesn't want to "go after it" in a Martian way. Yet inside, it still wants what it wants, the same way a more aggressive sign does, but they are ruled by Venus and unable to express it as overtly. So the actions are geared towards making you comfortable and getting you to come to them.

This dichotomy between intent and action can give the impression of leading people on, being misleading and not being straightforward with what they really want.

If there happen to be Pluto afflictions to personal planets (and possibly some Neptune afflictions), then I believe intentional manipulation occurs, and it adds to the existing intent and action dichotomy. Archetypical Taurus energy is very honest though. Misunderstandings are largely due to the Venusian impulse and more or less unintentional.

A Scorpio would enviously call a successful Taurus a manipulator, but only because that is all Scorpio knows as the way to success.

Taurus never manipulates, she is just extremely keen on the reality of VALUES.

This is why she is loved and trusted and good at governing and business.

This is not true. Any sign can have the plutonic tendencies of jealousy, manipulation and psychopath. ANY SIGN. My mother in law is psychopath. The most jealous person in the world. She uses her moon in Taurus as a way to attack ppl based on values, money, motherhood and possessions.

I've found Taurus to be more selfish than manipulative. They usually try to work hard for what they want and won't let anyone get in their way. If they have to manipulate and turn people against eachother, they will.

I feel they are pretty straightforward about their selfishness. They clearly feel entitled and they also demonstrably make use of what they get.

Maybe the combination of venus and earth gives the illusion of being manipulative. Venus is insecure and jealous and Earth will get what it wants by putting in the effort, so maybe thats why.

I find Taurus to be polite and selfcontained, but this hides their secret jealous side, which will help them seem more manipulative.

YES. This. The politeness is a tool to get where they need to be but that dissipates rather quickly. They get to angry to hold it in. VERY angry. They will not give anyone the benefit of the doubt. And their grudge is forever.

I havent had any difficulty with taurus being manipulative so im reluctant to say they are overly manipulative. from my person experience ive found gemini and scorpio to be repeatedly harmful and gemini in particular very fake.

We each play our own game and will be effected by signs differently depending on the effect it has on our chart.

I can see how people would find taurus people overbearing and they are definetely jealous people. I have a taurus ex friend but its her moon in gemini i struggle with, so you can imagine she does lie and play games to get people to like her.
