Saturn return: success or disaster? How to judge?

I'm asking this, because I never understood my natal Saturn.
I like to hear more about people who already experienced their Saturn return.
For people who were unsuccessful whole their life (I'm one of these people), is it a time when success will come , or is it making things even worse?
