Mars Rx in Leo

Hello, how are all you Leos on the board doing? Mars in Leo from October 15 was quite nice and busy, busy until around December 20th. Now I see Mars has been Retrograde, and I have Mars in Leo naturally in my chart so I feel the delay. I was let go Dec. 20(interesting, right?) and am now looking for a part -time job. I have to work out everyday to keep my energy popping, and I don't feel inclined to be social either.

How do all of you Leos keep the fire and enthusiasm spark going from now until Mars goes direct??

Ok... it wouldn't be right if I didn't respond to this one. What has Mars retro or Mars been doing in Leo for me? It seems like it is getting my life back together.

I bought a pretty decent car for now. I hope to give it to my soon to be 16 year old daughter in Texas.

I will be attending on-line classes for paralegal certification. I will probably end up back in Texas.

More than likely I will be finishing more of my books that I have just procrastinated on... ha!

After Saturn has tore through Leo and Virgo... I'd say Mars is putting me in a hurry and giving me the ability to get it all back together.

hey siren, yeah thats interesting. I'm triple leo and got let go a couple of days after you did.

I am not trying to to be honest. I feel flat as a pancake in regards to socialising. But I think that is a good thing. Us 1st house leos have had the recent eclipses in the areas of health and psyche and I think that a bit of time out from the leo social schedule is going down just fine for me.

Ive quit drinking as of the 1st Jan so just going to let the body recover natually for a few months, get back into doing some martial arts and then hopefully will be in great physical and mental shape for mars going direct in a few months time

Hello Leos

I have absolutely nothing in Leo, loads in Aquarius, but I was let go also from work on 14th December and moved house 4 days later.

Mars is going through my 8th so thats digging up loads of things for me to sort through, not very social either, and Mars stations direct on my vertex.. :pouty:

hi guys
mars rx conjunct my moon on the mc.... opp venus on the ic:pouty:
My boss turned from loveing my work to interviewing for my job in front of me saying it was just to see" whats out there " the staff all had somethng to say to him about it and he dropped it.
then mid january he deceded to be so abusive towards me i would walk.. which i did! (not going to stay where im not wanted) typical mc moon in leo.
I feel really low and washed up quite honestly, loosing my relationhips and haveing no closeure with that along with now being very poor, haveing my daughter move in with me to help her out.. has caused my peacefull home to now be a noisy messy wreck.. so its like ive lost my haven from the world.. I have no where to run!

Im not going to blame mars on all that but, Im not enjoying the transit

wow DiDi -

thats a hell of a transit and a hell of an effect.

I hope you get something new sorted out. You may have needed that kick up the *** to go and find something much better, or it may turn out that your daughter really needs you around or your help in some yet unseen way.

Siren111, you will have the good fortune (or bad) of having three Mars returns this year. I too have mars in Leo with Venus and uranus all in the 5th so I did some reading on retrograde in returns.
The first pass is a point of initiation of energy. In the retrograde phase things go wrong. It is a time to rewrite, recoup, reproject..but the bottom line is you exam carefully your energy and your goal. You revise it or whatever or if you try to plunge or should I say blunder ahead you may run in to problems. The final pass or return is when the energy can move forward toward completion of the goal so to speak.
My energy has not been great. I look for others to help me in my motivation. I have Aries rising so mars is my planet ruling first house. I have noticed an increased irritation as mars is coming closer natal mars at 7'58. Of course natal Uranus is at 13'30 Leo. Watch for the full moon tonight as the moon is conjunct Mars increasiing tempers and domestic disputes.

Oh yeah. My *** had been on fire in October-November. Then around mid December everything calmed down drastically. I still have my job, actually working my asset off, but I have no energy, just enough of it at work and almost none at home. Even longer sleep hours aren't helping. No interest in social anything, I have even turned away sex multiple times, no interest. But, I as LionKing said, I have been organizing my life a little better. More spiritually and emotionally than physically though. Reading books.

I have found it `interesting'. Mars rules my 4th house, but Rx Mars is transiting the 7th, currently closely conj Leo Sun, after stirring up leo Pluto.

I have found the Rx transit - er - cleansing, I think is the best word. A couple of weeks ago I cleaned out my wardrobe, sending around half my clothes and shoes to the second-hand shop or the bin, depending on condition. Now, the `wardrobe' is my life, but chiefly the state of my relationships with the world itself. My patterns of relating to others - most of which began early in life - have been exposed to me, and solutions have followed. It has been a bit like living my life in fast-forward. (Leo rules my 8th house)

can really relate to all of those comments Cornholio. its wierd. with the sex one its more like getting girls numbers after meeting them on nights out and juts having no interest in chasing it up / taking it further. I just can't be bothered to spare the effort! terrible really. :andy:

quiet time is good though. I think its good to regroup and get ourselves sorted for when that Mars energy goes direct again and life will somehow drag us back onto the merri-go-round :sideways:

Hmmm ... having similar symptoms although I was putting it down to tr Neptune opposition natal Venus applying.

Can't say I've had the opportunity to turn any sex down, but I can't say I'm that bothered.

On a similar sort of note, I haven't touched a drop of alcohol since Christmas. Prior to that I was happily having a bottle of beer most nights. Now though, I just have no desire or inclination for it.

This morning despite being rested after a good night's sleep, I could have laid in bed until midday even though it was a beautiful blue sky day outside. Fortunately I had some things to do that couldn't be missed. But otherwise I'd have just been sat reading all day.

Alcohol wise ... I usually give it up for January ... and hardly drank at all for the rest of 2008 ... but it's usually something I consciously do. This here is a bit weird because I've just got no desire for it, yet in Oct/Nov/Dec I was loving the taste and would also buy some at the supermarket.

Well ... I forced myself out to do a 16-mile run ... so I was justified in spending the rest of my day in the bath and slobbing around ... but it would have been easy to just stay in. Only my Leo pride got me out there as I've entered a 20-mile run in March and really don't want to end up walking the last 5 miles ...

wow - 16 miles is quite a distance. I'm feeling extra lazy now!:joyful:

It is ... took about 2hr30.

I'm hitting 40 next year, so for a bunch of reasons life has challenged me to run a decent marathon. I've done three in the past but never really achieved my potential or trained very well - so I've started early in the hope that it'll work out this time ...

thats insipring. I indured my leg, by not building up and doing to much too soon in the summer after quitting smoknig and am dying for it to be better so I can get going again.

I have my reservations about doing that kinda distance though as almost everyone I know who has tried to do a marathon has sustained some fairly long term problems from doing so. I guess preperation and training is key.

Are you looking at any astrological influences for getting back into your running?

Hadn't really thought to. I know that when I had my first big burst of running back in 1996 it was when Jupiter was in my 9th house. That's pretty easy symbolism to go with. And actually when I did my first marathon I had Jupiter pretty much on the midheaven.

My inspiration this time around has come from two friends who recently did marathons on their 40th's and a third who spurred me into action with the comment about underachieving. So perhaps there's an 5th/11th house thing in there too.

I guess perhaps Saturn in Libra (my 6th house) is about me knuckling down and achieving what I should have. The Nov-09 transition into that house coincides with the time that I decided I was going to do the training for next year.

We'll see how it goes through the summer. I'm pretty prone to burnout if I'm not getting quick results. And I need to play some golf on the long summer evenings as that's part of my life direction too! (Again a 9th house sport).

ninth house because there is a kind of journey involved in running and going round a golf course?

Ninth house because marathon running is a long distance journey.

Golf, I believe is a Sagitarian sport. It's out in the open, again it's a long journey and there's a certain freedom about it. But yes, I also believe it teaches you a lot about yourself. In the end it is purely about you trying to strike a little white ball into a hole. Sometimes there are difficult weather conditions or a tough course, but ultimately the ball is not moving and there are no opponents directly affecting your game. It's you vs yourself.
