Asking about signs in relation to their houses and signs on the other side of these

So I have :

Venus I’m Virgo in the 8th house my 8th house also happens to be in Virgo.
Leo which is a fifth house sign in my seventh house which happens to be in cancer like for example can you read the chart that way are they all related to eachother?

There are big differences of opinion in astrology as to the wisdom of conflating planets, signs, and houses. I think of this is a kind of by-the-numbers astrology, where the 11th sign is set equal to the 11th house, and Uranus is seen to rule the 11th house, for example. This is one modern astrology approach.

More traditionally you didn't get that match-up between houses, signs, and sign rulers. I don't see Leo as "a fifth house sign," for example. Any sign can be on the cusp of the fifth house.

I think you're indicating the natural confusion that can come from insistence on a planet-sign-house match up. I prefer to think of them separately.
