What do you think of planets that are in the same sign but not conjunct?

If a person’s Sun is the same sign as my Moon but it doesn’t conjunct my Moon.

Then there would be a similar approach but no moving together.
It's like both dancing to the same music, but at different ends of the dance floor.

So it wouldn’t actually cause any attraction between us? I’ve read so many things in regards to this. I do feel an attraction for Aquarius Suns.
