Hi Jup,
I didn't know Cleo was also interested in angry birds as well? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSEpkcHUlm0
Perhaps Bird Current= B/C
Perhaps an Ostrich?

Hi David,
Obviously Cleopatra was a powerful character of 2,000 years ago, when life was very cruel!
But by today's standards we wonder about bringing her history through the years to our standards.
She married her little brother, extreme taboo!
She had all her siblings murdered so she could become Pharaoh!
Her Roman lovers either committed suicide or were assassinated regarding her ambitions!
Some people would call her "A Bunny Boiler", a catch phrase started by the film "Fatal Attraction":-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XykEnBpyfr4
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/bunny_boiler
Perhaps B/C = Bunny Current
I don't have any rampant comments to make about rabbits!

My family was playing Apples to Apples the other day... if you're familiar...

and the adjective we had to describe on one round was "feminine".... someone put down "Cleopatra" and someone else put down "Anne Frank" and those were the only two things that were even remotely descriptive of feminine.

The person selecting the winner chose Anne Frank, and my fiancé about died inside.

Yet, it started a discussion about whether or not Cleopatra could be considered feminine, and surprisingly both arguments had merits. She certainly used female sexuality, but often as a tool for political advantage. Is that feminine? She would stop at nothing to gain power. Is that feminine? Mars in Libra inconjunct Venus/South Node in Pisces square Neptune in Gemini. That's a lot of ambiguity... "trapped" by Venus. :alien:

Hi FlapJacks,
I love the Suffrajets, myself, more of the lesser known ones that were involved with mysticism and magic:-

If Cleopatra did commit suicide, it is highly likely she would have done it aligned to Egyptian paran astrology, we think she died on either 10th August or 12th August 0030 BC, by using ancient Greek day marker, being sunset on 11th August, as Sun and Venus set, Alnilam, Belt of Orion and Osiris star was on the Nadir or I.C., this would have given her a star map to follow as she thought she was Isis on Earth to find Osiris:-

Hi Jup, if Cleopatra did offer a prayer when she died, she would have picked the day, as she was a Greek Pharaoh, she might have been inclined to pick ancient Greek day marker to 12th August 0030 BC, being sunset on 11th August, when Alnilam was on the Nadir or I.C., so the Ostrich is looking in the right place LOL!

Monk, what I think is that you are a very kind, imaginative man, who wanted to give the kids some fun before the holidays they love. You are a loving son who wanted Mum to have a great birthday.

Sadly, "No good deed goes unpunished," or possibly there's a bigger story board of our lives that calls upon all of the strength we can muster in the face of agonizing pain, and disabilities, just to see what we're made of. That you're still joking says that Nobody But Nobody gets Monk down for very long. I'm impressed.

When I was young, I loved the Wizard of Oz books, and collected all of them. I still have them. There's a benevolent pumpkin-head in those stories, Jack Pumpkinhead.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Pumpkinhead_of_Oz

His big fear is that his jack-o-lantern head is prone to spoilage. He's also sweet on the Patchwork Girl of Oz. These creatures are pretty benign. (But sometimes I wonder if my head is prone to spoilage.)

But yeah-- if something were the cause of my having a serious accident, I'd want it out of the house, for sure.

How are you getting on after your surgery?

I hope you are getting along better

Hi Waybread,

An interesting difference between the book and the movie. In the book, the slippers are silver. Metaphysically of the moon, alchemical. In the movie, they wanted a more, visual thing. ruby slippers appealed to the hollywoodites. But silver is apt.

Hi Jup,

I thought i would write a true Sirius Black humour thread section involving my health and Jack, the Pumpkin King of Halloween who tried to steal Christmas!

On Halloween 2016, i was making my own steak burgers in preparation of my mothers 89th birthday party, my mother was helping mix the meat therefore i said it was apt that we had blood all up our arms on Halloween!

Sadly a few minutes later my mother passed out, fell on the hard floor and broke her ankle very badly, which needed pins and an operation. I nursed her apart from washing her for six weeks!

On Halloween 2017, i bought a plastic pumpkin and skeleton to place outside our house so the local kids would call, trick or treating. In between then and Christmas, i found a discarded broken Little Tikes plastic summer house that i painted like a Christmas Grotto, and thought i would put a large Christmas display outside my house for last Christmas!

I thought i might try something different, maybe the Grinch etc. Eventually i took the plastic pumpkin, made a hole underneath, took the head off the skeleton, and put the two together, i painted the new head white and black and ended up with Jack the Pumpkin King, i then made a sign with "Nightmare before Christmas", then it was ready to put out in the front garden, sitting on a plastic stool!

On the 8th January 2018, i was taking the decorations down, i took the plastic stool that Jack was sitting on, inside to wash, but without thinking sat on it, it split the stool, and i ended on the floor with spinal fluid oozing out, snapping my spine and ending up with paraplegia.

Moral of the real story is "Do not mess with Jack the Pumpkin King", he will get you Ha Ha! Being in a temp. nursing home, i only heard this week that the Jack i built was still stored in the house, EEEKK!
I told my mother to put it in the rubbish bin, it was collected today, i don't like Jack, evil cackle!!

I am sure you have looked at the transits, or? What is in your natal, that causes things to happen? I am glad that you can see beyond this, my Uncle, he had a surgery recommended to fix an old back injury, they said, they should fix it, so that he wouldn't be handicapped by a sudden movement. They operated. Now he can't walk.
