I just broke off a one year relationship with an eccentric miserly man. He's an ER doctor and philanthropist. His net worth is $10 million. Yet he's miserly to the EXTREME! The last straw for me was his idea of a road trip where I was expected to sleep in the back of his van on a mattress (with the dog). If I wanted a bed, toilet, and shower I'd have to pay for that myself. Very controlling.
