Donald Trump will be impeached.

Old posters on this forum must be suffering from dementia because they saw Bill Clinton get impeached. He didn't go anywhere. He finished out his term.

Why not?

The Senate voted on whether to remove Clinton from office. The president was acquitted on both articles of impeachment. The prosecution needed a two-thirds majority to convict but failed to achieve even a bare majority. Rejecting the first charge of perjury, 45 Democrats and 10 Republicans voted “not guilty” and on the charge of obstruction of justice the Senate was split 50-50

At her weekly press conference, Fancy Nancy basically said Democrats were stupid. "They think impeachment means Trump will be out of the White House when it just means an indictment, a charge. The Senate has to convict."
Which they won''t because Repubs have the majority. Then the Demwits will have played their LAST CARD which Pelosi knows very well. That's why she is stalling.

MEXICO BLINKED so Trump dropped the tariff threat (if Mexico didn't stop flow of illegals.) This is one financial expert's opinion of why:
- - - - - - -

I don’t think that Trump’s threat of imposition of tariffs to ALL products coming from Mexico was meant for Mexico. It was meant for every manufacturing facility and company that invests money in Mexican operations, makes products in Mexico and ships into the US. They have hundreds of billions invested there. A 25% tariff on everything would have every one of them rethink their operational and investment strategy to supply their products into the US.

Mexico is reacting quickly to stem this economic and public relations nightmare with all their investors. Ever since NAFTA was ratified, there was almost no uncertainty in business investing in Mexico. You invest there and you have a cheap entry into the US market. Keep investing and your profits will follow. Trump has now created uncertainty. This new threat creates uncertainty to every operation in Mexico. Money does not like uncertainty. How much will this retard the investment in Mexico?

My guess is Mexico is agreeing to almost anything to not only avoid tariffs but create the environment where all those operations will feel that the Mexican government is working with the US to undo this nervous uncertainty. The immigration revenues must be MUCH LOWER than the elimination of investment dollars. It must be huge! Thus the old saying, “Get them by the balls, and their hearts and minds will follow. ”

In the ART OF THE DEAL, Trump always talks about leverage. He followed the dollars, as a good businessman would. And he created leverage where they were not expecting it.

So much for Trump being a stupid buffoon, huh? No one else figured this out!

The long-running trade dispute between the two economic superpowers unexpectedly escalated earlier this month when Trump raised tariffs on $200bn of Chinese goods from 10% to 25%. China hit back with tariffs on $60bn of US imports.

The president has previously suggested that China “pays” for the tariffs, but the border taxes are paid by US firms and consumers to the US government on top of the price of the Chinese goods they buy. Several big US companies have complained that the tariffs damage their profits, including iPhone maker Apple.

He blinked. The initial 5% tariff was necessary to prove he wasn't bluffing. He was, and Mexico called him on it.

It’s hard to believe that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), once thought as too vulnerable even to be the Speaker of the House or party leader, is within striking distance of Donald Trump in terms of approval ratings.

She’s at 43 percent in approval ratings over her last several polls, likely within the margin of error by a percentage point or two.

McGaughey, the husband of Barr’s youngest daughter, has been hired as an attorney in the White House counsel’s office, where he’ll “advise the president, the executive office, and White House staff on legal issues concerning the president and the presidency.

Barr kisses Trump's feet.

Today I heard that AOC was demanding a pay increase in her salary, despite the fact that she earns around $174,000 a year on tax payer money. Socialism at its finest, taking care first of the political class at the expense of the taxpayer. Commie swines.

This graphic explains why Speaker Pelosi is resistant to impeachment</H1>

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has told her caucus that they can do investigations into the president without impeachment. The difference, however, is that there are fewer legal benefits available to Congress in their oversight role than in impeachment.
Theoretically, it should enable Democrats to do the research they need, but the White House is taking the bold step to defy the oversight the Constitution outlines. The only option open to the Democrats has been to go to court with their case outlining how the White House is breaking the law. Thus far, they’ve won two lawsuits about their investigations, and they will likely gain more.

Still, the progressive wing of the Democratic Party wants to impeach the president as soon as possible.
A graphic from Axios perfectly captures the Speaker’s dilemma:

(Graphic via Axios)

The graphic is clickable at Axios where each face gives information about the official. As the graphic shows, Democrats are a far cry from being able to make the numbers it would take to vote for impeachment. Holding the impeachment vote allows Trump to celebrate when it is voted down, and he survives.

Presumably, this is why Pelosi is going the hearing route. If members can uncover the facts and help explain Robert Mueller’s report to the American people, it could raise the percentage of Americans seeking impeachment. Currently, that number stands at a mere 20 percent.
If Democrats who want to impeach were smart, they’d look at the districts where Republicans could be in trouble in the 2020 election. If those districts have a high percentage of people seeking impeachment, Democrats could hold informational townhall events in the district to help garner grassroots support to persuade the Republican in the district.
As Democratic billionaire, Tom Steyer shells out millions to run impeachment ads; he could be similarly targeting those districts instead of wasting his money on nationwide ad buys that do little to persuade those who are not informed about what the Mueller report outlined.
As it stands, however, the graphic from Axios shows the slog progressives face

unfortunately this is not the real reason that nancy Pelosi does not want to impeach the criminal trump. the real reason is that she is of the same criminal heritage as trump

FBI Files: Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi’s Father Thomas D’Alesandro Jr. Was “Constant Companion” Of Notorious Mobster Benjamin Magliano

Nancy Pelosi’s father Thomas D’Alesandro Jr. allegedly was a “constant companion” of notorious mobster Benjamin “Benny Trotta” Magliano and other underworld figures during his political years in Baltimore, MD. D’Alesandro was a Congressman for five terms from 1938 to 1947, and Baltimore mayor for three terms from 1947 to 1959.Magliano was identified by the FBI as one of Baltimore’s “top hoodlums,” and he widely was acknowledged as the representative for New York’s Frankie Carbo who made his bones with Murder, Inc. and later became a made guy in the Lucchese family. The allegations are included in D’Alesandro’s recently-released FBI files which Friends of Ours has obtained pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act.”…the FBI filed the case of D’Alesandro and finally, in 1961, President John F. Kennedy requested” Allegation of D’Alesandro’s involvement with Baltimore hoodlums”
Despite Mr. D’Alesandro was Democratic Congressman, a senior politician, but he did many wrongs in the shadow, so in January 1961, Democratic President John. F. Kennedy requested the G.men to address:” Allegation of D’Alesandro’s involvement with Baltimore hoodlums”
The tough border protection of President Donald Trump hampers the drug cartels, the drug syndicates, felons, and the gangs…The US people including the concerned Democrats may recognize the untold reason that the commander in thug and also lawmaker terrorist Nancy Pelosi always stops the fund cost $USD 5.7 billion to complete the wall. Nevertheless, the previous presidents built parts of the wall at the US and Mexico, but the felons and drug cartels, the drug syndicates still have the way entering the US soil, certainly, the unleashed border could deserve the facilities for the drug cartel and the criminal rings operate.

Speaker Pelosi's father, the late US congressman Thomas D'Alesandro, Jr., of Maryland, was known as a Roosevelt Democrat. What is not widely known is that D'Alesandro broke ranks with president Franklin D. Roosevelt on the issues of rescuing Jews from Hitler and creating a Jewish State. D'Alesandro was one of the congressional supporters of the Bergson Group, a maverick Jewish political action committee that challenged the Roosevelt administration's policies on the Jewish refugee issue during the Holocaust, and later lobbied against British control of Palestine. The Bergson activists used unconventional tactics to draw attention to the plight of Europe's Jews, including staging theatrical pageants, organizing a march by 400 rabbis to the White House, and placing more than 200 full-page advertisements in newspapers around the country. Some of those ads featured lists of celebrities, prominent intellectuals, and members of Congress who supported the group - including D'Alesandro. D'Alesandro's involvement with the Bergson Group was remarkable because he was a Democrat who was choosing to support a group that was publicly challenging a Democratic president.

Political observers say it’s no surprise that the congresswoman from San Francisco considers herself close to the Jews.
The daughter of Thomas D’Alesandro Jr., a former mayor of Baltimore, Pelosi grew up in a Democratic family with Jewish neighbors and friends.
“She likes to say that, growing up in Baltimore, she went to a bar or bat mitzvah every Saturday,” Amy Friedkin, a former president of AIPAC and a friend of Pelosi’s for 25 years, wrote in an e-mail message to JTA.
(Nancy Pelosi is from the same Israeli mafia upbringing as trump . that is why she will never call for impeachment, she is in bed with the AIPAC and supports trumps Israeli dictatorship.rahu)

As of today, Tuesday, Congresswoman Katie Porter becomes #67 for Impeaching Trump. She read the entire Mueller report each and every page 3 times and is convinced he is running a criminal enterprise in the WH.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katie_Porter

As for Nancy Pelosi, I grew up practically in her neighborhood, and there were no Jews in Little Italy, however, nearby there was. So her neighbors were not Jewish because these enclaves in Baltimore City were quite separated by culture and race in those days prior to integration.

She was a staunch Roman Catholic who attended St. Leo's Church as everyone did in her neighborhood, as 99% of the people there were a) Italian and b) Roman Catholic.

Thats just the way it was back then.

Pelosi went to Catholic High School a I recall, but since she and I are separated by 7 years in ago, (she being older) :) ...she wasn't in my group of friends in Little Italy. Yet I'm rather sure she would have been in the crowd that night at the annual St. Leo's carnival when on the stage doing their hit song, "You make me wanna Shout" by the Isley Brothers was tearing the town apart. It was a simpler time, a nicer time in many ways, but seriously, each neighborhood tended to be ethnically to themselves although they did intermarry in those days too with the various cultures and religions. My neighborhood was Polish-catholic, and although I could both sing and pray in Polish, I was not Polish American. An anomaly and still am.

p.s. If Trump pulls any more stunts more people will join the 67 for Impeaching or at least starting the Hearings.
