Sabian Symbols in Chart's of Famous People

Jason Statham

In the natal chart of British action-film hero Jason Statham we find bot the Moon and Chiron conjunct one another in the last degree of Pisces--29 Pisces 30 and 29 Pisces 36, respectively. The Sabian symbol for that degree is Pisces 30: The Great Stone Face.

Sylvester Stallone & Jean-Claude van Damme

Action-film heroes Sylvester Stallone and Jean-Claude van Damme both have the 29th degree of Sagittarius emphasized in their natal charts. As for Stallone, it's his ascendant which is at 28 Sagittarius 38. For van Damme it's his natal Jupiter which we find at 28 Sagittarius 42. The Sabian symbol for this degree is Sagittarius 29, A fat boy mowing the lawn.

Odd that these two men who've made their careers on their muscles and martial prowess--rather than their acting skills--would have both this symbol in emphasized.

General Robert E. Lee

Robert Edward Lee (January 19, 1807 – October 12, 1870) was a career United States Army officer, an engineer, and among the most celebrated generals in American history. Lee was the son of Major General Henry Lee III "Light Horse Harry" (1756–1818), Governor of Virginia, and his second wife, Anne Hill Carter (1773–1829). He was a descendant of Sir Thomas More and of King Robert II of Scotland through the Earls of Crawford. A top graduate of West Point, Lee distinguished himself as an exceptional soldier in the U.S. Army for thirty-two years. He is best known for fighting on behalf of the Confederate Army in the American Civil War.

Notably, in Lee's natal chart we find Jupiter at 22 Capricorn 07 (Capricorn 23), the Sabian Symbol for which is "Two awards for bravery in combat."

Chris "Mind Freak" Angel

Criss Angel (born Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos on December 19, 1967) is an American magician, illusionist, musician, mentalist, hypnotist, escapologist, stunt performer and actor. He is best known for starring in his own television show, Criss Angel Mindfreak.

In his natal chart we find his North Node at 25 Aries 50 (Aries 26), the Sabian Symbol for which is "A man possessed of more gifts than he can hold."

What do these mean?

I don't know about the Kozminsky symbols. Rudhyar treats the Sabian symbols in sets of five. The degrees you mention are the 4th and 5th degrees in the 45th such set.

Rudhyar associates Scorpio 14 with the importance of interpersonal communication in communion, and Scorpio 15 with the 'transcendent possibilities of mental evolution, which require interpersonal communion in consciousness.'

In each set of five symbols, the first plays a particular role, as does the second and so on. So the same pattern of development occurs in each set. So in these two symbols we see the 45th set coming to fruition. In this case we also see the first half of the sign Scorpio coming to fruition. Rudyhar gives to this first half of Scorpio the label 'communion'.

lmao NO WAY!

My MC is at the same degree as Hugh Jackman's, 9 degrees Scorpio (his 21 minutes in, mine 18). Since it is minutes after 9 degrees we take the one for 10 degrees technically.

The definition reads;
Sabian Symbol: A fellowship supper is served to a group of men brought together in reunion to live again in forgotten moments.
Kozminsky Symbol: A revolving star which throws off many colors and shades of color.

The second reminds me of The Fountain, where Jackman has a bunch of spectacular roles and goes through a lot of transformations (Scorpionic). In general Jackman plays many different roles and is not easy to typecast. Except for his iconic role which relates to the first... Wolverine is the iconoclastic mutant of the X-Men, of all the mutants Jackman's character gets portrayed the most. The X-Men is a very Plutonian/Scorpionic story concept and in these stories they are always reuniting. One would think Professor Xavier does the job of organizing the reunion but the Wolverine character actually plays the most memorable and reused role.

Interestingly enough Wolverine in Latin means Glutton.

Nicki Minaj also has this MC at 9' 06. Her work is certainly very colorful and nutty, but being signed to Young Money records and acting like "one of the boys" in the record label made famous by Lil Wayne is a less obvious depiction of this degree.

Michel Onfray, minor philosopher, has a thing for eating and his Scorpio MC is at 8'56, nearly 9 degrees, he wrote a book about the eating habits of classical philosophers called The Stomach of the Philosophers.

There seems to be a kind of banquet/ravenous eating/gustation fixation with this degree.

Perhaps the most famous of peoples with this degree though is Niccolo Machiavelli, (9'47) whose work The Prince gave him a sort of infamy. The Prince is a guidebook for ruthless power seekers and Machiavelli writes it as someone merely wearing the mask of someone who would be so devilishly cutthroat. His other works were as a playwright of romantic comedy and any of the tactics he advised in The Prince were not truly exercised in his real life.

Of course, like Jackman, Machiavelli has Neptune conjunct the MC, which makes any MC influence the subject of such things as the crafting of illusions (who remembers Jackman in The Prestige?). Minaj on the other hand, while being an entertainer, has no such influence and her lifestyle is markedly more involved in the mask of fiendishness she wears (her Jupiter conjunct may hint at there being an involvement with devil worship as a belief structure).

Perhaps The Prince is a fitting description for the type of characters produced by this degree?

Ulysses S. Grant also had this MC and was infamous for being a sloppy drunk and a horrible, disorganized general who won battles generally out of sheer luck, stupidity, stubbornness or cruelty, his victories confounding the more experienced and quite brilliant generals of the Confederate army. Grant's true gifts may not have been on the battlefield but as an intelligence strategist, as he along with Allan Pinkerton, both Masons, helped establish the Secret Service.

Has anybody ever looked up sabian symbols for the ascendant degree of solar returns? My ascendant degree for a year i moved out of my home country was sagittarius 23 which is:
