Would my clothing line be successful?

I have been designing for sometime now & have been debating whether I want to launch a small clothing line. This would definitely be a new creative project that I would hope to turn into something financially stable. However, I am in a rough spot financially due to covid and I know I need to invest both my time and money wisely. If I were to do this, it would be taking time away from my other project that is generating income. Basically, I don’t want to invest in something that will flop. I don’t mind the grind or hard work, but I am terrified of it being a complete fail & things backfiring on me during this tough time. Any help is appreciated!
