10th lord sun debilitated in 12th house should ruby be worn?

My birth details:
TOB - 7:50 am
DOB - 27/10/1988
POB - Kolkata, West Bengal, India
(Problem : No direction, no routine, no discipline, no motivation in life, too much confusion . just passing days doing nothing)
I tried studying astrology. It gets more and more confusing.
Some people say debilitated planet stone should not be worn , some say 12th house planet's stone should not be worn and some say the completely opposite. I have been suggested by someone to wear ruby gemstone to get proper career progress and motivation in life. But sun is placed in 12th house debilitated. Will it not lead to more problems than solution ?
Please advice a remedy if the above remedy is not correct.

Sun's debilitation is lessen due to it's depositor Venus being conjunct with exalted mercury in 11th house, and mars is making a 100% aspect to Sun from the 5th house. Also Sun is in his own house in navamsa chart . Go towards a spiritual field, I think it'd be helpful. Personally, I don't recommend gemstones.
