When you eat fruit/veggies are you sure the people picking them and collecting them are not slaves to the corporations?
When you buy clothes or anything, do YOU check to ensure they are not being made by children?
Most cellphone parts are obtained by children & slaves being forced to work in mines and places in 3rd world countries that are beyond cruel.
When you take any meds, do you do YOUR research to ensure animals are not used for experiments? You know, like the on-going cvirus trials which kill mice, rats, cats, dogs, monkeys. They ALL died in the trials.
Are you protesting Big-Pharma?
I LOVE animals more than most humans BUT I do believe they were placed her for human consumption. But that doesn't mean they should be abused while alive. They should be grass-fed, allowed to roam & be free & be with their families until they are slaughtered. Factory-farming should be banned.
It will be one day but until that happens, you calling people nasty names for eating meat is childish and ignorant. Many people have to eat meat to remain healthy. Despite what you claim, meat is healthy & a necessary part of a diet, esp the countries in the North.
IF people could afford to buy meat that comes from animals that are bred in humane conditions, the majority would buy...but being 'ethical' is a very, very expensive hobby. Ever been to Whole Foods?
I've found that many vegans/vegetarians have a huge chip on their shoulder & very nasty people. The opposite of 'spiritual'. Hey, maybe they need some iron or B12 from a juicy cheeseburger!
Madonna is a vegetarian but wears real fur. Bit of a hypocrite no?
Many are like this. Judging meat eaters while wearing leather shoes, furs and using products produced by child labour or slaves.
Hitler was a vegetarian wasn't he? Yet he had no problemo killing off millions & millions of humans he deemed 'undesirables'.
btw, I would really check out the flavouring for these 'beyond burgers'.
It may not contain any animal meat but what about aborted fetuses?
I heard something about that to make it 'tasty'. You want want to do your own investigation.
You are not including compassion in your decision making. They don’t want to die whether they are grass fed or not, would you?? If there is a choice which is not cruel then why not choose that one, why deliberately close yourself off to the pain of others while remaining fixated on your own pain? (A general statement not saying you in particular).
It’s a big leap, a huge lifestyle over haul to become vegan. I am not saying it is easy but I am saying it is the right thing to do and no one can deny that.
Plus all I was asking was for you to try a Beyond Burger. I love them.
