And what if you are part of society that is self sustainable and doesn't require your contribution even though it supports all individuals unquestionably?

There are countless things you can do with your life besides going to work from 9 to 5 like a robot. There will be real robots for this task very soon.

Just make yourself useful in ways that are meaningful to you.

There is no such society

There are countless things you can do with your life besides going to work from 9 to 5 like a robot. There will be real robots for this task very soon.

We will always need people to program the robots, fix the robots, creatively think of newer and effective ways for the robots to produce, and innovative new products for the robots to make.

The people that can't do those things will no longer be needed for work; and if the people that own the robots want to give those people free money and free stuff from their robot productions, they are welcome to, but they don't have to.

When the robots are programmed to replicate and repair themselves, they'll be under the control of an Artificial Intelligence that won't consider the human owners necessary. Then we'll all be in the same boat!

A compliment. Plus, I remember all the arguing in my first year of college. The boring people just accepted everything as it was and had no opinions about how they could be made better.

Yeah, most people are passive and don't care.

I don't think I'll say anything at college... I don't want to be attacked or bullied. And considering that most young people are collective socialists, the future will become socialist and my voice will not be heard, especially when freedom of speech is prohibited to not hurt people's precious feelings. So...

Hopefully there is a libertarian club at my college. If not, then an open-minded, conservative one.

Anarchy without capitalism??

Idiotic.

Anarchy is originally left wing idea and it could never work together with capitalism. Anarchy requires collectivistic and altruistic types of personalities in order to work.

Suppose we have an anarchist type of society practicing capitalism. This is essentially the wild west, just without a sheriff.

The prime motive of the capitalist is the self interest and it is in his self interest to make profit. In order to make profit he must overcome his competition in any way possible. Who or what will prevent the 'Capitalist A' to take the gun and simply rob or even kill the 'Capitalist B' and thus eliminate his competition. After all, such action would increase his profit. In order to protect himself the 'Capitalist B' would have to organize a gang of like minded people. Even though they don't care about each other, they do care about their self interest. But now they are stronger than the 'Capitalist A' and they are in position to shut him down. So, now the 'Capitalist A' gathers even bigger gang, then the 'Capitalist B' even bigger gang and so on. Eventually, you'll end up just where you started. Those big gangs are called today the nation states. They go around, robbing and killing smaller gangs (nation states).

Capitalism could never work without state, police, courts and the army.

Completely disagree.

Suppose we have an anarchist type of society practicing capitalism. This is essentially the wild west, just without a sheriff.

Believe it or not, the Wild West wasn't actually wild. It was rather boring, and pretty lifeless during those times. There are historians who can back me up on this. Very rarely, do we see Wild West people with their guns about to shoot someone. Shootings were actually less frequent because everyone had a gun to protect themselves.

The prime motive of the capitalist is the self interest and it is in his self interest to make profit.

Wow, making money and doing things that benefit you is so bad! :w00t:

In order to make profit he must overcome his competition in any way possible.

Competition encourages creativity, innovation, cheaper products, and more efficient making of these products. Something that is actually better for the public or collective.

Who or what will prevent the 'Capitalist A' to take the gun and simply rob or even kill the 'Capitalist B' and thus eliminate his competition.

In a free market, if you're known for killing people, stealing, or anything downright immoral... people will not trust you. People will not buy from you. You will have a poor reputation. And people would probably just shoot you for shooting that guy. Because remember, it's anarchy.

In the government you could probably get away with murder, and yet, still be protected by the government.

And because the free market encourages individuality, everyone is thinking rationally on their own self-interest.

They go around, robing and killing smaller gangs (nation states).

A free market cannot exist if you violate the NAP. Therefore, no one would want to attack each other so that the market could function as best as possible.

Individuals are not evil when they are left up to themselves. People are evil when they are in a group or cult. In a free market, there are no groups or cults, only individuals and free-will, and mans mind.

Capitalism could never work without state, police, courts and the army.

And you think socialism would?? LOL

How do you make everyone voluntarily contribute equally and spread wealth. I'm afraid there is no such thing.

The only way to make people adopt socialism, the common good, or a group philosophy is by having a leader. You need a leader to control the group. These leadership positions are often attractions for psychopaths and cult leaders. They play on people's emotions, promise them peace and free food, take the responsibility of leading their life rather than putting the responsibility on the people to lead their own lives how they see fit.

This is why left-wing ideology always leads to dictators like hitler, stalin, mao...
