aspects

Hi all--I'm new to this forum. I'm trying to figure out how to break down my chart and figure out what my aspects mean. I was also told by an advanced member on this site to post a thread in here and ask about my planetary positions in my first and fourth house. This was after I replied to a north/south node thread and freaked out about my nodes.

Anyone care to shed some light?

Hi WK......welcome to the forum.

I think R4VEN was prompting you to look at the very close square made by your Scorpio/1st house Moon to the conjunction of Sun/Mercury in Aquarius/4th (which combines with Venus/Jupiter to form a cluster/stellium).

Start by looking at the meaning of Moon in Scorpio/1st......(an intensely emotional person)...and of a square...(creates a problem that the individual is unaware of/blind to)...

Then, look at the meanings of Sun/Mercury in Aquarius/4th; a conjunction of Sun/Mercury and a "Mercury combustion"......(an independent but subjective mind, that might not "hear" the advice of others)...

Then, look at the meanings of Venus/Jupiter in Aquarius/4th......(comfortable in relationships with like-minded people)...

Combine/synthesise the meanings of the 4 planets in the Stellium...Sun/Mercury/Venus/Jupiter in Aquarius/4th.....(a person whose subjective thinking is reinforced by the company she keeps)...

Finally, combine/synthesise the meaning of the Stellium and the Moon square....(a person whose thinking is subjective, based on emotions and reinforced by the company she keeps)......perhaps translating as someone whose emotions can prevent her from being objective.

[Note : These aspects/planetary positions have a variety of meanings, and only you can have the experience to determine how they actually work in your life (after fully researching them)......The examples given by me are to illustrate how the process works, rather than an attempt to interpret how they apply to you specifically.]

Thanks so much for putting that in simple terms. I am aware that the moon represents emotions, and I am indeed a highly emotional person. I realize that you were giving me a basis of what these aspects could possibly mean or lean toward; but what you said was actually true about me having a subjective mind but possibly not hearing the advice of others--I love to hear opinions but I rarely listen to people or heed their advice, choosing to rather learn by own mistakes. Sometimes I think I subconsciously know something will end in peril and I do it anyway :-/ Maybe that's the masochistic nature of scorpio (that appears so much in my chart). And yes my emotions often fog my mind so that making rational decisions is hard.

May I suggest you read the 'welcome to the world of astrology and other ---sticky' at the top of this forum? It has some great explanations, links etc. At the top of every forum there are lots of ‘stickys’ which explain matters in that forum, along with guidelines & tips
