Hi I'm studying something very similar and many astrologers have said that given my chart it's a good choice, so I have an idea which kind of placements help.
Your chart ruler is Mercury, the ruler of commerce, and Merucry has many good aspects, the strogest in your chart, but it is very close the Sun (combust). I still think that Mercury is placed in an OK position despite the combustion. Those aspects suggest the very same kind of energy you admire in your mother!
You have Saturn prominent, exactly conjunct the MC, though I don't consider any of those aspects strong, except for the square to Jupiter, which I think helps. Jupiter in the 6th is not known for being hard-working, and it is known for spending too quickly! So a square to Saturn to me, brings much needed caution and sensibility!
Venus in the 6th house can mean someone who likes to work in luxury products, or glamerous work, or simply someone who is very pleasant and friendly in the work environment and depends on a similar sentiment from colleagues.
That Sun in the 7th trine Mars is very, very energetic, very good for you indeed! Mars itself in the 3rd of Virgo is very hard working, very meticulous and very careful when working, so these are good for you in your plans I think.
For business and commerce, I would look for the condition of Mercury and Saturn. Venus in certain positions can also give clues to this, just like in your case, in the 6th house. Planets in the 6th house reveal your day-to-day working nature. Planets in the 10th reveal your higher ambitions. I see Saturn, your 8th ruler (joint finances) sits on your MC so I think you're likely to become involved with managing joint finances somehow.
You have a very well placed Moon, with many aspects which add to a happy temperment and would help you in stressful business situations. I see the Moon rules your second house of personal finances, and with the Moon's aspects, I'd say the worst you could be would be too optimistic, but again the Moon is well placed anyway, and you have much Saturn contact in your chart (e.g. conjunct MC and square Jupiter in the 6th) which will ease that optimism and balance it.
You have Jupiter at home in Saggittarius conjunct the DC...that has a lot to say about your business contacts! That implies foreign travel, knowledge, in people education and happy/optimistic temperments.
