Hired for a teaching position?

As some of you know, I'm a TA right now. This past year I've come to envision myself working at the school I'm currently at. The teacher I work under knows I'm graduating this spring and has seriously asked me three or four times "So you'll be DONE, this year?" and I'm like "Yeah," and we go on about our business separately. She can be sneaky and after the second time I started to wonder why she kept bringing that up when I wasn't.

I drew a chart and asked if she was thinking about hiring me or getting me a position (which now that I say that I'm probably wrong otherwise there would be an extensive conversation about it I'd assume...)

Kind of lost on what houses to read with - is this a L1 / L6, or L1 / L10 for career?

I'm Moon in Taurus exalted, but of course almost opposing my coworker Jupiter in Scorpio. Jupiter makes no aspect to ASC either, and there's no reception ...

BUT

Moon has a strong relationship to Venus both by sign and aspect, and Venus represents business partnerships. Moon is also nicely aspecting Saturn (job in general).

It seems like someone likes me for some type of job, but perhaps not a teaching one? (I say that because I've been tossing and turning whether or not to stay in my field when my friend may be able to get a better paying job making appointments for patients in the OBGYN clinic).

I agree with your observations about Moon with Jup, ruler of your boss and a job [as this seems 1/10 house matter]. I don't see this particular scenario coming to pass.

But Lovely, you are such a bright and articulate young woman, that I can see many possibilities, perhaps still not clear, yet potentially numerous, nonetheless. And I feel it represented by all those planets in the 10th.
So I suppose I would urge you to imagine big and broad about what might even remotely interest you. I think you can do many things, my friend, when the time is right.
Wishing you the very best as you continue to persevere and also to seek greater clarity in this matter.

Actually I was seeing them all in the sign of the MC which in this chart is in the 9th sign. So your place to excel out in the world according to this chart might be in an academic setting, upgrading or gaining further professional credentials...?

Maybe even finding work and income in that setting...? Im just being creative here. Consider letting the sky be the limit, really thinking outside the box...

If I did go forward with teaching I'd have to get a master's degree :) Since OK has such a shortage they allow you to be certified as long as you promise and enroll in classes until you're done.

Oh in the 9th house... traveling! I wonder if I could find something that travels.

You said the sky be the limit and I realized now the 9th house is about travel. I've always thought being a flight attendant would be fun or working in an airport would be, but it'd have to be substantial obviously.

Update:

So I was partially right! I found out today one of the first year teachers is resigning. I would have to get a Master's either through our emergency certification program at the University, or through the alternative certification program through our State Dpt. of Edu. Either way a higher degree is needed hence the 9th house. However, it's still up in the air whether or not our program is actually needing a third teacher next year due to a fluctuation in the number of students we have, and I have to start getting my ducks in a row regarding certification tests, but the seed has been planted!

I think that it might happen---given that your Pr Moon is @ 1 degree Gemini. It is a perfect description of Moon in Gemini in 11th.

^^ I hope so.

Is there any sign of interference here? I know two or three of my coworkers are also qualified to be certified and I'm panicking today that one of them will get it (or in essence - I won't). Trying not to because that only pushes what I want to achieve further away, but... it's there.

In the original chart, you/Moon apply to aspect Sun, Venus, Saturn and Mercury before perfecting an opposition with the ruler of the job/10th/MC, Jupiter.

So yes, I would say that there is interference. Also, when significators meet by opposition, and also with adverse reception [from you/Moon to the job/Jupiter], it suggests that should you get the the job, you will not like it [reception] or that it would not go well [meeting by opposition].

But a positive outcome from getting the job might be the Master's degree you would get through emergency certification or alternative certification program through your State Dpt. of Edu. This feels to me like what the 9th sign influence in the chart may be all about...?

It could be! Maybe instead of not liking it it just means it won't be as enjoyable (potato, potah-toe) which I could see. Lots of paperwork and less dealing with the kids, meetings, meetings, meetings. However, if I get a Master's I think I would be elligible to work with a behavior specialist who has worked in conjunction with our kids this year and is considered an autism expert (at least in our state).

I did make a chart asking "Will I get the job" now that the possibility seems a bit closer, and it seems like it confirms my fears since my sig and 7H sig are in masculine-esque signs. Posted below:

I think I'd want Moon in Gemini or Virgo, Mercury NOT to be applying to Saturn, Moon / Jupiter conjunction maybe, and Mars (my L3 ruler at least) not squaring my ASC.

Is there some kind of woo woo translation going on between Merc / Jupiter / Mars though? Merc in Aries, Jupiter in Scorpio and Mars in Sag? But Mars in Sag is in Mercury's detriment which means deliverer of bad news (L3?)

One inhibition I have about being certified here is I won't make as much as I would starting out in another specific state.
