Lightbulb Scorpio and Taurus relation

Hi.
I was looking at my chart and realized that the placements of the 2 signs are unique. My Sun and Mercury in Taurus in the 8th house of Scorpio (Pluto) and Pluto in the Second house of Taurus (Venus). Mercury is the strongest planet in my chart since its the ruling planet of Ascendant.
I was wondering, is there a significane to having the 2 planets opposite to each other and at the same time be in the opposite houses?

Re: Scorpio and Taurus relation

Oppositions in charts suggest 'other people' opposing you. Whereas squares are internal tension aspects.

Plus your opposition is part of T Square configuration in 'fixed signs'

When the T-square is in fixed signs the native operates slowly, but is resolute; as a preliminary, he will always find out all the possible problems before starting to act

What is rather noticeable is lack of fire 'energy' and air....
Will PM you as cannot remember author so cannot post.

Re: Scorpio and Taurus relation

Astroman, this is nothing special really. It would be a bit more special when the opposing planets had been in each others sign, like Pluto in Taurus and Venus in Scorpio opposing one another. But that is not the case here. Signs are stronger because they add a certain flavour to the planets in that sign, inherent to that sign. So Pluto would get a Taurean flavour and Venus a Scorpion flavour. They would also be in mutual reception and understand each others energies better, acting as a conjunction would.

A house only shows a life department where these planets are having their impact.

Re: Scorpio and Taurus relation

I once read an extended chart that said that my Mercury has most influence on my chart, which makes sense since its chart ruler, followed by Pluto, which does not make sense, followed by the Sun, which again not sure why.

I say this because some of my other planets are in possitive possitions. So how does Pluto and Sun generate more influence? assuming if thats true.

Possibly cos your Pluto has 3 challenging aspects to is, namely, opp sun, moon (the 'lights' or luminaries) and mercury.

Mercury is your chart ruler ie; Ascendant sign ruler and where it is placed (which house) should assume importance. You need to study and read more of the basics. There is a great Education board/forum on here or try some of the links i PM you...

Re: Scorpio and Taurus relation

As I was reading the link about the T-squares, I realized I had other configurations like the kite on my Mercury and Sun. I bet that adds importance.

I was wondering something about my Venus. It is in the 7th house and conjuct DC but in opposition to AC. I know this doesnt show on the chart, but it can be interpreted that way. What kind of possitive or negative affects does this create?

All depends how she's aspected and you have square to Jupiter. Venus is how we give and receive love and how we earn our money. In aries, it's very direct and to the point, impatient and impulsive. Either you will have these traits or your partner will....(projected). Venus is very laid back social and gets a lot of pleasure from socialising, in the house of libra that may make your or your partner a little procrastinating and indecisive about where you go and what you do socially. Square to jupiter suggests on occasions you go 'over the top' with expanding socialising....

Re: Scorpio and Taurus relation

Actually, Venus is in Pisces.
I know its very close to Aries. And I believe its exaulted in Pisces.
I bet there is big difference between Aries Venus and Pisces Venus!

Very good conclusion Astroman1! Venus in Aries is in its detriment and indeed in Pisces Venus is exalted (actually in the 27th degree of Pisces but I think only traditional astrologers take it that precisely). So yes, In Aries the Venus energy is not at all focussed and probably concentrates on Venusian things like selfindulgence and sex for sex's sake, excluding the love factor, and the other placement in Pisces brings forth all the good qualities of Venus.

Re: Scorpio and Taurus relation

Lol. Thankx guy.
My Venus in Pisces is probably my most favorite position.
How can anyone ever possibly live without the daydreaming and the fantasies that I see on a daily basis...lol. Not to mention the dreams!
Like being forced to take the bus from school because you can't get a ride, and meeting the most beautifull girl you have seen on the bus and from then on.. its just a crazy ride!

Now I read the Venus in 7th house generally means happy marraige and/or attractive partner. Is there a soulmate factor involved? Just wondering. Or does another position/planet rule the soulmate factor. By factor i mean that will you actually meet your soul partner in this life...
