Via Combusta (Libra/Scorpio) in the Natal

While reading about my Libra Moon a few weeks ago, I came across an ancient concept of Via Combusta, whereby the last decan of Libra and the first decan of Scorpio are considered ominous. This only applies to the Sun and Moon. My natal Moon is in 24 degrees Libra. (The reason this especially stood out to me is that right around last year's Halloween, my life took a sharp dive into 8th-house madness. Not good.)

The concept seems to have mostly been phased out of modern astrology. It also seems to only be used in horary among traditionalists. I'm wondering whether this concept applies to natal charts and whether it's still relevant today.

As for why those degrees are considered "bad," IIRC, it's because, in part, the traditional malefics Saturn and Mars rule those signs, and are more potent within those decans (I probably have this very wrong).
