Hello all learned astros,
Iam currently looking out for a job, hunting since
past 4 months.
Any predictions of how soon can i get one..
Ofcourse iam tensed like anyone would be.
Will jupiter gettng into cancer on 18th june help
my career and my kundali ??

Because you are accustomed to Vedic astrology being Sidereal,
therefore as you say then
Sidereally Jupiter is just ingressing Cancer

HOWEVER
Tropically, Jupiter ingressed Tropical Cancer at the end of June 2013

Right now no, the move of Jupiter is very much afflicted right now. Saturn is also showing afflicted transit.

You may start getting favorable influences starting Oct 2014 and it will be for about a year.

Thnaks for the guidance, i am aware of cancer in jupiter since 2013 , however my question about my career still remains , whats the future prediction in regards to my star alignment

Can you explain why Jupiter would be afflicted now if it is ingressing into it's sign of exaltation in sidereal system?

Affilictions:
Lord of Cancer is in detrimental Sign - An affliction.
Cancer is aspected by Natal Mars (4th) - An affliction.
Cancer is aspected by Natal Saturn (10th) - An affliction.

But would you not say that the period of Jupiter going through Cancer is a period of ups and downs? Rather than it being afflicted all the time?

If I look at the mundane use a tight orb of 3° as it is a slow moving planet I can indeed see that Jupiter is free from affliction up until the 21st of July when Mars will come into square with it and keep the square aspect until the 10th of August - so yes an affliction during those weeks. But at the same time Jupiter will be in close conjunction with the Sun. After it has moved out of this square with Mars it will indeed come into conjunction with Venus, trine with Uranus and sextile with Mercury before it will move into square with Saturn during the first week of November. And then the nice trine with Venus, Sun and Mercury will happen in the start of Dec. But then an opposition to Mars as a new year arrives. Then it will indeed make some more bad aspects as well as very good ones before it leaves Cancer in July next year.

And when looking into this persons's chart I can see a few days in July and August and September when Jupiter is free from affliction and then I can see the beginning of October as you noted that Jupiter comes into a trine with his natal Sun at the same time as it conjuncts the ASC, so that is when you see his opportunity arriving - and not before that?

Out of 5 astro 3 said jupiter is exalted and rest 2 think it aint, is it just a difference b/w vedic and western astrology or the way an astrologer studies the chart , the most hilarious was an indian astrologer refering to some software that said that iam still running rahu md , which got over way back in june... Lol
