How do we calculate Ascendant Sign Accurately from DOB time and place?

Also, as per the ascendant sign how we will determine the Lord of respective houses in North Indian chart?

Most of us use a computer program. There are many free ones on the internet, and many free ones that you can download for your own use on your own computer.

An accurate Ascendant Sign is entirely dependent on an accurate TIME, as well as an accurate DAY, MONTH and YEAR of birth :smile:

Medical records are fairly reliable, although not exact, because obviously at the time the child is being born the medical staff's top priority are the health and safety of both mother and child who necessarily require attention during as well as immediately after the physical birth. Newborn then is also weighed, washed, clothed and so on and so forth. That takes time.

A member of this forum who works in a hospital as a nurse has said that often times of birth are estimated since they are noted AFTER the birth, sometimes more than fifteen minutes and sometimes hours, depending on individual cirumstances
