Anything else like Kala?

Hello,

I've started to appreciate rational tropical vedic whole sign astrology in greater detail. I am currently specifically interested in the Vimshottari AnterDasas.

Is there anything else like Kala to help calculate this but for free? I don't currently have a sufficient income to spend on software I may only be using once for learning the very basics.

Any Vedic astrology software will calculate Vimshottari Dasa for you.

Those in the school of thought which use tropical signs (basically Ernst Wilhelm school) also use sidereal nakshatras which is what the Vimshottari Dasa is based upon so there is no difference perse.

However, they do tend to use a different ayanamsa to the widely practiced Lahiri so that is where you will get some differences. If you specifically want to use the ayanamsa they use, you can use this calculator:
