Solar Return w/ Karmic Relational Flavor

I posted this inquiry on another thread but then thought it was more appropriate to post on the predictive section:)
"But the angles conjunction don't "energize" the points like a planets will in a conjuction, they just give information. In this case the South Lunar Node as the marker of past lives is touching the personal, fated hotspot. Think of it as a scheduled rendezvous between soulmates (of one variety or another) as per a pre-incarnation soul agreement to meet in this lifetime in order to resolve karma together."
I quoted this passage from another topic reply since it caught my attention regarding my own Solar Return for the coming year ahead 2012. Chart/s on my profile.

Chart stats ~
The main aspect I'm looking at regarding this thread is that my:
SR Pluto is conjunct SR Vertex and in turn conjunct my natal SN (quite precise). There is a 1st/7th natal and 5th/11th house SR overlay here.

In addition I would like to point out that my:
SR NN is exactly conjunct my natal Ascendent which in turn my SR SN is precisely conjunct my progressed Venus and natal Descendent by less than 1 degree (will become conjunct in October).
Also, My progressed Ascendent at 24 degrees Capricorn is exactly conjunct my natal Vertex axis...

At first, to me it sounded quite relational due to the numerous aspects. Like I was going to meet a romantic interest of karmic past (SR DC is also conjunct natal Saturn...), although Capricorn is highlighted here so perhaps this is more relational of a professional kind?

Any thoughts are appreciated!

Does anyone think that the aspects I mentioned above seem strictly relational or are there alternate interpretations? In other words ~ what would you expect to experience?

Well the charts were just a click away but here they are posted in this thread...

Hey, cafeastrology has some good info for the ac and which house is brought to it. Also, in the educational section starlink had a good post as far as interpreting in your sr. You need to look at the aspects to your natal and the mc from your sr moves about 7.5 degrees per month.
Hope this helps, ha might also want to look at your lunar return.

I don't get into 'karmic flavours', but the natal house that is brought to the Ascendant is the area that will be pushed to the foreground in the next year. In your case, it's the 9th house. Personally, I think that's a great house. Perhaps a long voyage, whether physically or psychologically, expansion, higher education, things foreign. As the SR Asc is in Leo, it will indicate a Leo flavoured outlook; warm, generous, perhaps a little drama :)

With the SR Sun in the 7th house, relationships will also be an area of focus. Watch out for that Neptune as it can dissolve and blur reality.

Solar returns http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showpost.php?p=265454&postcount=7

All solar returns are about ‘potential’ as is the natal chart, but we don’t always fulfil our potential, whether it’s due to ‘other people or unforeseen circumstances’ or a choice of two things and maybe possibly making different choices meant you didn’t fulfil that potential in this Solar return.

I don't read SR's as stand alone cos you can get far more information from bi wheel, it can give a natal planet an opening or expression by conjuncting SR Asc or MC for example and any SR planets conj natal planets are important to.

when selecting a solar return chart from astro in Extended chart selection it's important to select 2nd option 'with houses' as this will put the degree onto planets and Angles --

“The house in which the Sun falls in the SR chart is the birthday month's forecast and influence, and each house after is the following month, since the Sun transits at the rate of one sign or house per month. Each house is treated as events in that month, and the sign and planet ruling the cusp influences the outlook for that month. The chart is used like a clock, writh 12 months on its face instead of 12 hours. As the Sun conjoins or aspects other planets in the SR, it will generate events”

Lastly, for something 'major' to happen, it should also be reflected in your transits, progressions and possibly solar arcs. So don't ignore these methods in favour of JUST solar returns

It would have been helpful if you stated whether or not you are actually IN a relationship or not??

SR Asc falls in 9th house natallly and this whole years focus will be concerning 9th house matters (not relationships) :whistling:

now T Pluto is conj south node natally and this could suggest *cutting ties* with all matters that are 'holding you back' so you can start to reach for your North Node Lessons in this lifetime. as T Pluto is conj 2nd house cusp this has to do with all 2nd house matters ie: earning capacity, self worth issues, personal beliefs, material possessions etc...
http://www.skyviewzone.com/astrology/houses.htm

I notice T Pluto is currently quincunxing natal moon at 8.56" Leo, which in Equal house this moon would be conj 9th house cusp and therefore considered more effective in 9th..... Have you ever lived abroad? or wanted to? even for a short time....

SR mars retro is conj natal pluto in natal 9th and this may well bring strong issues of actions, power plays or manipulations,, could involved sexual matters or matters appertaining to 9th house matters...

re: relationships we see gemini/mercury ruling and posited in 3rd but afflicted conj saturn. this shows you want relationships, and could be easily swayed by partners and there could be a flavour of brother/sister about them.

North Node conj Asc suggests people will come into your life that help you learn certain lessons or point you on your pathway towards this. I notice your Asc may well be conj Antares.
Have you ever experienced people wanting to fight with you, either verbally or phyiscally??

“According to Ptolemy it is of the nature of Mars and Jupiter. It causes malevolence, destructiveness, liberality, broad-mindedness, evil presages and danger of fatality and makes its natives rash, ravenous, headstrong and destructive to themselves by their own obstinacy. [Robson*, 136.] Riches and honour, violence, sickness, benefits seldom last
Antares makes people tough, belligerent and pugnacious. This is an important star for military personnel and is said to convey mental alertness, strategic ability and courage and to make dare-devils, especially if tied up with the MC, Ascendant, Sun or Jupiter.”http://www.constellationsofwords.com/stars/Antares.html

Thank you both Bittermoon and Astrologer50 ~ I hadn't placed any focus on where the sr asc lands so that is very helpful. You both mention travel and that sounds really exciting. There does seem to be some indications to show art work over seas. It's a bit up in the air right now but perhaps will form more as the months go on...:)
"Have you ever lived abroad? or wanted to? even for a short time...." I haven't yet but have always wanted to ~ it's about time anyway:)
You're both a big help but you seem to differ here... "SR Asc falls in 9th house natallly and this whole years focus will be concerning 9th house matters (not relationships)". Doesn't a 7th house sr Sun suggest at least some emphasis on relationships. I'm not in a relationship at this time but getting in the mood.
The rest of what you say I'll just have to see how it pans out. As far as the fixed stars go though, I have looked at them before but thy don't seem to resonate with me. What you say about Antares and people wanting to fight with me might only characterize some things in my upbringing but wouldn't a natal Saturn in the 3rd suggest something similar?
Anyway thank you all for your thoughts and links! I appreciate them very much ~
