U.S.Senate November 4th, 2020

There are key positions this year which may help the Democrats surpass the Republican majority if they win in November. This will mean a great deal to the future of the country and help to curb the instincts of DJT if he is elected President again. Between the majority of the House and the Senate he would be a lame duck potus. IF Joe Biden wins the top job, then the Republicans have no say any longer of consequence.

THIS is why its so important for djt to put a Supreme Court Justice in the place of the late Ruth Ginsburg. Not because he read the Constitution (he doesn't read) - but because he wants to destroy the ACA (Obamacare) health care which will be decided after the Elections are over.

I don't see how he would be stopped however from nominating his own choice as Justice because he could do this after the Election is over but with more fight over it because he'd not have the necessary 2/3rds votes or a simple majority vote from the Senate if it goes to the Democrats.

But I think he will push with McConnell's help for before the Election in November of the new Senate and his own office.

This was the ACA when trump put it on the chopping block the first time, trying to destroy it (in January of 2017) ...the Federal appeals court voted against trump then, BUT now he has the Supreme Court taking a look at it as he maintains it is "unconstitutional"

Meanwhile, tens of millions of people will be without health care in this country if they agree with him and so far, the Republican conservatives with the death of Ginsburg have the majority rule in the court.

I will also post the natal charts of the 2 key Senators up for re-election or a fall from their positions they've held for decades:

Jaime R. Harrison (born February 5, 1976) is an American politician and former lobbyist. He served as the chair of the South Carolina Democratic Party from 2013 to 2017 and is an associate chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
Harrison is running against incumbent senator Lindsey Graham for the South Carolina U.S. Senate seat in the 2020 election.

In the lastest polls, Martha McSally (R-Senator AZ) who was voted out of office 4 years ago as a Congresswoman when Krysten Sinema was voted in, was given a gift from the Republican Governor, Doug Ducey, and given the late John McCain's position-

She is behind now in the polls against Mark Kelly, (NASA astronaut) who is also the husband of Gabby Giffords (the Democrat who was almost assassinated) in Tucson years ago:

Her natal chart looks to be ahead of her contender in November, especially TR Jupiter trine her NN

She has been consistently behind Kelly in the Polls! :pouty: and was thought to be a sure loss for the Republican party.

We do not however, have anyone's time of birth to say positively.

For years Republican Sen. Martha McSally has had a problem trying to defend her many attempts to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, including its protections for those with pre-existing conditions.
During her losing campaign against Democrat Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, McSally was constantly under fire, correctly so, for pushing to have the ACA dismantled. Not only did McSally vote for such a plan, she was quoted as urging her Republican colleagues to pass it with the fiery profane admonition: “Let’s get this f-ing thing done!

The McSally-Kelly Arizona race may be more a horse race to the finish line....

Martha McSally down 17 points in new Fox News poll showing ...

Sep 04, 2020 · Igor Derysh September 3, 2020 6:03PM (UTC) Sen. Martha McSally, R-Ariz., trails retired astronaut Mark Kelly by 17 points in a new Fox News poll that had plenty of bad news for Republicans

The only other person who is believed to LIE more then Martha McSally would be the Potus -

Martha McSally, Mark Kelly to meet Oct. 6 in only US Senate debate in Arizona

Senate rivals Martha McSally and Mark Kelly will meet for a debate at 7 p.m. Oct. 6 hosted by The Arizona Republic and the state’s public radio and television stations.
McSally’s campaign announced Thursday sheagreed to the date for an in-person debate focusing on issues at the top of voters’ minds as the Nov. 3 election approaches. Those almost certainly include the COVID-19 crisis, health care, education and the economy.
Kelly's campaign had earlier confirmed his acceptance of the debate.
The race could help determine whether Republicans maintain control of the U.S. Senate.
Polls suggest Kelly is maintaining a consistent lead over McSally.

These are very interesting, you've invested a lot of effort into putting it all together.
I wonder, however, how much the transits count with respect to progressions.
One could have a positive transit, but during a period of stress in the progressed chart, it doesn't hold much weight.

Elena:

Would you comment then, if I posted Progressions? Do you want an all progressed chart or a chart with transits & progressions?

I can do either for you.

I'm rather shocked about Martha McSally!:crying:

Just to clarify, I'm not criticising what you did, it's fine.
But as an example, in the McSally chart we see right away that she has her progressed sun/mars in trine with the heavy duty Capricorn transiting planets. Which is an important boost in any endeavour.
And, progressed mercury trine her strong natal Uranus/pluto conjunction.
Important keys to what is happening to her, and so what are her chances of being victorious.
Pity they don't know the birth times so we could see where in the chart these planets are having their influence.

I didn't take it as an insult in any way.

Most important to tens of millions of Americans, is the ACA chart which looked bad when it was created - imo.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/suprem...he20case20are20scheduled20to20span20one20hour

The Supreme Court said they will start oral arguments one week after the elections in November:
It was reported it will be set for November 10th and will take about one hour!

dell spacebar not working

**Progressed Mercury & Venus will be square to Pluto which was a bad time to sign imo this law into creation or that is what I originally thought it was doomed from the beginning!

What is Biden's "Plan B?"

What is Trump's "Plan A?"

We haven't heard from either of them on either question....

Perhaps if Biden is elected, he will HAVE to enact Universal Health Care finally....

Slightly off topic, results just coming in from the Italian election today.
Referendum to decrease the number of Parliament members won by a wide margin.
Of 20 Regions up for vote, 15 went right, 5 to the left. Before the election they were 13/7.
One of these was historic, Marche, governed for the past 50 years by the left has just swung right.
And Liguria, traditionally left, reconfirmed the right for the second time with a 15 point margin.

As you probably know, this doesn't make much sense to an American who hasn't studied the Italian political system. Do you see this as a good thing?

Also, what's the Italian health care system like, especially for the less affluent? Do you consider it a good model for the U.S. to follow?

The election results are good news for me, not for you.
There is socialised medicine.
So if you need a blood test, no problem.
If you have something serious better to go private and pay to be sure of proper care. If you don't have private insurance or cash to pay, then take your chances with the public health, and wait your turn. Under staffed and under paid and rife with corruption.
If you live in the south you come to the north for treatment.
It isn't all bad, but what is good is not worth cherry picking.
When politicians need medical care, they go to Switzerland or to the US.

Why isn't it good news for me? Will it end up causing more environmental pollution, like the right-wing policies in the U.S.?

Are there private physicians working for themselves and just being paid by the government? Or, are they actually government employees? I would MUCH prefer the former.

It's no secret that the wealthy have access to better health care than the middle and lower classes. If money could buy immortality, the super-rich and the politicians who serve them would live forever!

Arizona is used to mail-in ballots, so I wouldn't expect the sort of delay in Election results as in States that aren't already geared for it.

Mars stations Direct 10 days after Election Day itself. By then, we should know whether or not the Democrats have managed to take back the majority in the Senate.

So does Colorado, and 4 other western states like WA, OR, ID and UT which is largely conservative Republican, and Californians will have an all-mail-in ballot election this year.

Well, it APPEARS that the Trump-backing Republicans will at least attempt to discredit the Mail-in vote tally, even though it's been used for about 25% of the national vote-count for many years.
