Is Pluto an astrological planet?

Pluto is larger in diameter than Eris, and has 5 moons, while Eris has only one. Pluto approaches closer to the Sun than Neptune, and is therefore [IMO] one of the "gang of nine", whereas Eris is MUCH farther away. Pluto has an Element named after it, following the naming pattern of Uranium and Neptunium--Pluto had its name first, so the Element was named for the celestial object, not the other way around. Many Astrologers over many years have seen meaningful correlations using Pluto's line of Celestial Longitude. Eris has yet to be studied in that regard--difficult, because Eris is twice as slow as Pluto.

What do you think of that JupiterASC? Pluto is an astrological planet wooo

Did anyone see New Horizons data depiction of Pluto's atmosphere? It's practically a gas planet, being much larger than its solid core!

It has a resemblance to a comet while in orbit, which is currently going retrograde and direct repeatedly.

We might as well call Earth a dwarf planet factoring Pluto's relatively enormous atmosphere with its size which, seems reasonable given that it's much larger than the solid portion of the planet.

A "dwarf" planet is a small planet, just as a "compact" car is a small car. So, small or not, still a planet. Unless a compact car isn't a car.

JupiterASC is right; pluto isn't a planet, but astrologically, right, astro-LOGICALLY, pluto is a planet and has an impact, or at least has something important regarding astrological information.

JupiterASC is right;

pluto isn't a planet,
Quite

but astrologically,
right,
astro-LOGICALLY,
pluto is a planet and has an impact,
or
at least has something important regarding astrological information.
The point about Pluto's astronomical information
is
that we only have this furore
with dwarf planet Pluto
because of its dodgy astronomical state

The only reason Pluto even entered the astrological disccussion
isbecause of itsPREVIOUS brandingas an ASTRONOMICAL planet.

SIMILARLY with the first four asteroids
until they started discovering so many more
it was clear they were not planets

After that
the astrological information about them began to taper off
to where now they are basically a niche subject.

The first five recognized dwarf planets are
Ceres, Pluto, Eris, Makemake and Haumea.
Scientists believe there may be dozens
or even more than 100 dwarf planets awaiting discovery.
The main distinction between a dwarf planet and a planet
is that

planets have cleared the path around the sun

while dwarf planets tend to orbit in zones of similar objects

that can cross their path around the sun
such as the asteroid and Kuiper belts.

Dwarf planets also are generally smaller than the planet Mercury

Dwarf planets are small planets. Compact cars are small cars. Small planets either provide useful Astrological information or not, depending on the opinion of the individual Astrologer. Whether Astronomers consider small planets "Planets", is irrelevant to Astrology. If your compact car gets you to where you need to go, it works for you. Same with the small planets.

“This is a type of interaction we’ve never seen before anywhere in our solar system,” said David J. McComas, professor of astrophysical sciences at Princeton University and lead author of the study. “The results are astonishing.”

Surprisingly, Pluto is able to maintain a gravitational grasp on much of its thin atmosphere even as ions are being stripped away by the solar wind into a long tail (which, by the way, is also found on other planets like Earth.)

“These results speak to the power of exploration,” said Alan Stern, New Horizons principal investigator. ”Once again we’ve gone to a new kind of place and found ourselves discovering entirely new kinds of expressions in nature.”
The findings were published on May 4, 2016 in the Journal of Geophysical Research – Space Physics.

Boss! :joyful:

Thanks for posting that waybread

Yes, Pluto is an astrological planet and has an important influence in astrology. :)

Pluto may be small but has to be a body of influence. It rules Scorpio and
if we take it out of our chart, there is a huge gap as Mars is not the ruler but connected. I have heavy Pluto influences and as an astrologer I can tell you that Mars is no substitute.
