Surgery and planet retrogrades

I've had surgery for a hernia scheduled for the 8th December 2014 and noticed that it's on the day that Jupiter is stationary retrograde. I can't find any specific information on that regarding surgery. It doesn't seem like an ideal day to me though. Also the moon is waxing, which I believe is not ideal either.

Does anyone have any thoughts on that?

[EDIT]
Just realised the Moon is waning on that day and not waxing

Jupiter's station isn't immediately of concern unless it is on an angle.

You are right, though about the waxing Moon being non-ideal for surgery. It excites the blood and can cause problems from excessive bleeding. What sign is the Moon in on this day?

Thanks for replying Kaiousei.

My apologies all, the Moon on that day is waning, and in Cancer, not sure how I misread it, I must have looked at the wrong year
