Compensation for lack of an element in chart

How do you make up for the lack of an element in the chart? I have major Air and Water which is so :rolleyes::rolleyes:
I have noted that I tend to live more in my head and there are fewer actions and more ideas. I want to learn how to action plans and deliver more. Any sources or recommendations appreciated.

Do you mean natally or through relationships? For me, I have very little earth, and I have noticed that I tend to attract as well as be attracted to Capricorns (an earth sign).

I only have one outer planet in a water sign. But I try to draw on that to "gain some depth" 😁

Sometimes with lack of elements you can over compensate and other time’s avoid it.

Looking into the chary deeper can show or find ways where you have your earthy and fiery side. Earthy for ambition and fire for taking action.

I lack water and over compensate for it and need to channel it in the right way as it can overwhelm me.

Element voids are interesting to me, because I feel like most people I know with little-to-no presence of an element in their chart have that missing element still accessible by planetary aspects and/or house placements.

For example, my brother's chart is all air/water with some fire and no earth, but Saturn is in hard aspect to 3 of his personal planets, and he also has some 2nd H placements). That's an extreme example, but I do feel like most chart configurations have either obvious ways of counter-balancing the lack of an element (like with my brother), or more subtle ways of showing it.

But aspects and houses come out differently than signs. I could write quite a bit on the differences I've noticed, but if you're lacking Earth/Fire, I'd start by looking into aspects made to your natal Saturn/Mars, and look at the houses involved in those aspects. Their relationship will usually tell a story about how/where to access it best.
