What should I do for a career?

Hello

I am also searching for a way to review my Natal Chart to help identify a good vocational pursuit but without submitting my chart itself I hoped that someone could tell me some points of interest and where to zone into the chart to help with influences.

I will say that the 10th house, its planets and ruler and the aspects to those are pointers for our career or vocation which is not the same as our everyday work which belongs to the 6th. Some people manage to have their bread and butter work as their vocation and career and fortunate are they.:happy:

Career options are assessed by MC any planets conjunct, where the ruler of MC is placed, it’s aspects, then 2nd house ‘how you earn your money’ and planets there, ruler of cusp and where it’s placed, then 6th house of ‘type of work you do’ any planets there and how they are aspected.

Researching rulers of houses will help you understand more where I joining the dots so to speak

As I said in a different post the chart you posted is not quite correct as the transits (in red) are same as natal placements. Now Transiting Uranus is presently in pisces and transiting neptune in aquarius and transiting saturn in libra

You asked in PM about the green MC - this is your 'progressed' MC

Your natal chart is like a photograph as unique as your fingerprint, BUT the 10planets in the sky have not stayed where they were in your natal chart, they have all moved. Predictive astrology is mostly maths where those 10planets are now and the mathematical aspects they make to your natal charts ie: 180'=opposition, 90'=square, 60'=sextile and 120'=trine.

So your personality, grows, develops, changes, matures as we get older, this is reflected by your sun sign changing from it's natal position to the next sign along, so does your Asc and MC sign change. In fact from sun to mars espec are important, as the outer planets really don't move much, using a 'day for a year' secondary progressions.

The most important of progressed planets is of course, sun & moon and then upto mars, as the outer planets hardly move by progression. Now like with transits, solar arcs --- it's what these progressed planets are doing NOW by mathematical aspect to your natal planets and Angles that is ultimately important.

Also I would take this opportunity to mention that in every forum here on AW, there are 'stickys' which cover, explain in great depth what each forum is all about, plus we have an Education forum for further research..

I did not think it is helpful for someone new to view my specific natal responses.....unless I have a twin out there......because its all me

I think I read in the forum somewhere someone saying newbies who do not follow the rules should be ignored and I think it is funny because

#1 I wonder were the newbies given a welcome kit with the rules.??.. Now there is a minority of ppl who actually read every instruction manual through and through instead of diving right into their new prize

and 2nd sounded a little harsh but makes better sense then wasting energy for nothing, it is a more direct approach

Anyhow I do not really get the big deal.....if I know the answer then ask me I will tell ya and if I do not know then I am simply going to say KEEP LOOKING!!! and thats it, no false hope, no expectations just what I have to offer.

There are a lot of helpful resources available here and if you have a question it is expected to be an intelligent one if not then you will appear ill prepared. I am not sure of the tone of my post :biggrin: but I should be clear this forum is amazing and totally beneficial if you are truly interested in the science of Astrology! Although I vent...the value of this forum significantly outweighs my gripe

You can ask anything you like here but non of us are paid, it's all voluntary work and prob a bit hit and miss. there are also all different types of astrologers all at different levels from novice to professional. I myself am a modern astrologer that uses Equal house system, most on here use the default of Placidus on astro...

My way of helping newcomers is for them to do more research and learning rather than just ‘drop the answer in your lap’ and not necessarily to provide professional readings and forecast future events. If you are truly interested in astrology, I and most others here will help you…..
Having a Sagittarius MC is the sign of the teacher and I do indeed teach astrology. This forum is a wonderful community of all mixed levels. So instead of dropping the answer in your lap I may provide links to encourage you in the hope that if you are sincerely interested enough you will do the research and enlighten yourself….

Another way to approach this is to ask a 'horary question' in thier greenhorns lounge and I'm sure their will be advice, stickys and a plethora of information.

Look at MC, what sign it is in, eventual planets in the 10th house, and the ruler of MC. Also look at the overall "feel" of the chart. F ex a lot of air like Gemini might be good at teaching, communication related things etc. Also take a look at 2d house (abilities, talents, "assets" which can be used to gain money), 6th house.. Water signs might be good at psychology, especially if it's a lot of water and air in the chart. Libra might give a good party fixer lol. Uranus, Aquarius, Sagittarius, Gemini, Jupiter, Virgo traits may show a highly intelligent person, so science or technology might be good.

Thank You Adriana for the personal approach and I guess this is why I am here hoping to gain some clarity outside of myself because personally I just feel stuck, I am a little indecisive and lack inner motivation unless I have a an almost negative push to take action.

You have however hit some key attributes of mine....I am very sympathetic and can generally identify with anyone I encounter but the strain and stress of feeling others problems can overwhelm me at times so I tend to retreat after too much exposure. Also I operate on extremes which positively enables me to encourage and edify others but I fear that my intense energy sometimes scares others and leaves me misunderstood, so I tread slowly.

So yes that definitely has been a suggested career path but something I feel is in the way and maybe I am just being lazy but I was curious to possible find something in my chart that may identify some hurdle that I need to overcome, something that may be known or unknown but clearly need to address to release the pressure so to speak.

Is there anything negatively impacting my world celestially speaking?

I can't see your chart. I see you have linked to photobucket. If you have a chart in there click on the image to see the box with the links in it. There is one called IMG code or something, If you post that link into the post, the chart will show up in the post after you posted it.
