Evening enlightened one's

A question has been asked to myself, though i have not been able to locate a relaible source for the answer, hope you could all help.

Is the radiation which is emmited from the solar logos (The SUN), and reflected off by the planets in our local solar system, & to hit Terra Firma (EARTH) measurable by any mean's ? As we all know the planets have their respective effect on mankind's psyche, though when it is accompainied by solar radiation, is there a difference in the energy ?

There is an astrologer named Steven Forrest that talks about solar flares and their effects on the people of earth in the book "Measuring The Night." He believes that there are solar flare cycles that we go through. This makes all the sun signs act even more like themselves. Cancer will buy houses. Aries will be a walking ball of flames under the peak of a solar flare. I don't think this is exactly what you are asking about, but I think it might generate some ideas for you. L.

Electromagnetic radiation emitted by the sun is measured by an index call the "solar flux" and is generally measured at the 10.7cm wavelength, which is about 2800mHz, but as technology has advanced so much recently, the x-ray and ultraviolet solar flux level is now a popular benchmark too. The solar flux roughly follows the sunspot cycle, and tracks solar flares closely. Google "solar flux" for a wide range of data options, including NASA and otherwise. Simply put, the solar flux is a good benchmark for how much EM activity the sun is putting off.

It's relative effects on earth are measured by the "a index" and "k index" which is a relative number showing the amount of geomagnetic activity present on our planet, a direct result of the sun's energy against our magnetosphere. Essentially this index tells us how much the sun is electrically charging the magnetosphere. the "a index" and "k index" measure the same thing, however the "a index" is an averaged number where as the "k index" tracks short-term and/or real-time events.

An overview of the indices, how to read them, and how they affect the earth in terms of radio communications

There is also the solar wind, which is measured in protons per cubic centimeter, and it's speed of movement is also noted. That basically shows us how fast and how many protons the sun is blowing off in our general direction.

Googling "solar activity", solar "k index", solar "a index", or "solar wind" speed will bring back tons of links. There is much data to be had online!

Some starting points for various data:

The first link also has some of the most amazing images of our sun you will ever see!

Also, since you seem to be interested in the more scientific side of our solar system, here's an interesting flowchart from the AFA that certainly got me thinking when I saw it:

UNUKALHAI!
What a bright reply. The AFA chart
also got me thinking. This season has brought us Earthlings
into an energy field (first, those six planets in Scorpio recently, and
now many planets lining up in Sagittarius, with Pluto cj Galactic Center).
And the Snake Handler in the sky (think about the mythology of the rainbow
serpent girdling the Earth) being activated by
solar megaherz energy.
I'm feeling something!
Thanks for sharing that thought-provoking chart & other links.
