Is having a Moon-Mars sextile similar to having Aries Moon

I have Sun in Sagittarius and Moon in Leo (that has a sextile with my Mars in Gemini) and in all honesty I have always felt that Aries Moon would fit me much better than Leo Moon does. Any thoughts about this? By the way I have a strong fire dominance in my chart.

Hey . I.M.O, I dont think the sextile is as strong as the trine, conjunction, or actually having your moon in Aries. Will still take on aries traits though, just not as strongly.

I have Moon(Gemini) sextile Mars(Leo) and I can completely identify with an Aries Moon almost to a tee; and tend to get along with Aries extremely well.
