Scorpio MC

I've been reading some about Scorpio MC. I am at a place where I am trying to figure out what I want to do next with my life. The current state isn't working. However, I am a believer events/people show up to teach us a lesson. So thus my question. My understanding of Scorpio MC is owning one's own power. Of late, I am encountering someone at work who wants to power over me. Well, not just me, but I find others response is to placate him and build his ego. Personally, I am finding it difficult to be in the same room as him. In a particularly bad meeting -once I got over my out of body experience, I told him I was not going to be reprimanded like a child. I told him flat out our meetings cannot continue with him coming in telling me how to behave! Now I can barely make eye contact and anything he says my gut reaction is to reject it. I am having a lot of difficulty moving past it and being a grown up. In general his style rubs me the wrong way. If people are not in agreement with him - he uses phrases like "I am not getting through to you" in what feels like a condescending tone. Sooooooooo I look to my chart as I think a lot is up for me lately in owing my own power and finding self-worth - just trying to do it like a big girl.

Anywhooo, a long introduction to really seeking Scorpio on the MC information in a time of transition.

CaprLibraSquared, I am attracted to your question due to the Scorpio/Pluto factor. You are correct about the nature of Scorpio MC. There will be instances where bosses - or others - attempt to disempower you in your workplace. That can be devastating when it occurs. My take on Scorpio MC is that the person with this placement comes across as very powerful in their workplace - or alternatively, their public persona - so it is the insecure who tend to take you on.

Do not overlook your natal Pluto being in the 8th house - its `home' - and also squaring your Sagi Mars. Pluto-Mars square can set other people off, especially if they perceive something in you which frightens them. Also, your Mars is close enough to the 12th house cusp to be considered as a 12th house Mars. This probably means that you have a certain amount of suppressed aggression which others pick up on, and then throw at you.

I don't wish to tell you what to do, but perhaps this story re my niece and her husband might give you some insight. Both worked in the hospitality industry, and both have Scorpio MC. My niece also has Scorpio sun, and is very Scorpionic. They used to work for bosses, and my niece was forever compalining about bosses, using very colourful language. They then began to hate their work. So they bit the bullet and went into business for themselves. Problem solved! They worked very very hard to get the business up and running, but after 2 years have their loan paid off, and can reduce their working week from 7 days to 4.

I am aware that not all Scorpio MC people can work for themselves, but it is one effective way of using your own power for yourself, rather than for deflecting the criticism of others.

I appreciate the input. Pluto aspect is coming up a bit lately. I had an energy reading this a.m. and she asked me about where my Pluto was around I am the name the elephant in the room type of person and we talked a bit about the mars/pluto square. I've done some reading, but have to admit still taking it in. Jeffrey Green is a lot as I am still a newbie. It is interesting because I don't feel angry, but have a lot of anger coming at me at times. Need to look at that.

IT is interesting what you say about being frightened. This same person is notorious for taking my ideas as his own. I blamed myself for not speaking up.

I am not sure I could work for myself. I lack the drive to work the hours and do what it takes. Although, maybe I haven't found something inspires me enough. It does sound appealing now.

This person is horribly insecure. Constantly feels the need to state his authority. And, yes he is a bully!

I have Scorpio MC and always have bossess who wants to cut me in one way or another .....I don't know if they are or were scared of me but defently all of them were and are acting strange and not positive over me....directly or indirectly.....
they are trying to take my freedom away.....my present boss don't like that I show him without any discomfort that I don't care about his whims and he doesn't like my emotinal way .....He is trying to repress me by all kinds of stupid rules and is trying to show his predominance over me to my colleaguess .....however I can't understand him.....and I show him what I don't like about him ...in personal ...he come to work ill and he doesn't care that he can throw his sickness to others.....things like this is one that I don't like and he says: if a person is sick and can go to doctor he can come to work too.......
I don't know maybe there is problem in me too but he is trying to surpress me ......I have Moon Pluto conjunction less than 1 degree orb in Scorio ...

You have calculated your chart using the default on astro.com of placidus and I use Equal House system and am a modern astrologer. Lots of people that come into Astrology get their free charts calculated at www.astro.com and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all that there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few more.

It's only with study and research will you be able to assess where your planets are deposited and in which houses... thus see which 'glove fits'


So, sun would be 10th, uranus/pluto 9th, mercury 10th neptune 11th. Moon 2nd and saturn 3rd. So Jupiter/venus in 8th is good for 'other people's finance, windfalls, inheritances etc...

Saturn in 3rd house of communications, can show where you lack confidence, being retrograde (going backwards) and quincunx venus. shows a father who may have been absent or simply ineffectual in formative years at setting structure/boundaries etc.

Career options are assessed by MC any planets conjunct, where the ruler of MC is placed, it’s aspects, then 2nd house ‘how you earn your money’ and planets there, ruler of cusp and where it’s placed, then 6th house of ‘type of work you do’ any planets there and how they are aspected.

Now pluto is square to mars in 12th and also receives a square from Uranus. This suggest you should do something physical, like martial arts as it 'can' attract violence but also give it out. The mars/uranus square can suggest someone who is accident prone -to- bad tempered....

So very true! My dad and I argue on this a lot. He thinks I should promoted to an executive position in my current job and I am just looking for a way out as it is a huge mismatch of my values and interests. No transmission of information occurring!

Vanilla, I keep thinking about your post. I am not sure I will articulate this, but going to give it a shot. I believe we can look to out charts for clues as to what is going on in our outer world, but ultimately we are responsible for our lives. For example, if I get a lot of anger coming at me, I wonder where I am holding onto anger. My chart may hold the clue to this.

I am very unhappy with my current work situation and that I am encountering someone who chooses to walk through life powering over people. And even though my Scorpio wants to take his *** down. I see his weaknesses and I so want to go for them. I will admit to a few passive/aggressive moves -consciously - HOWEVER, I ultimately want to handle it with grace. So I think before I speak is this helpful is this necessary to say while working with how can I define my boundaries, but not come down to his level. So to be more blunt - pointing out people's faults and what bugs you about them,will only perpetuate negative energy.
So I would say based on your post that the answer to this is

Speaking as one who has taken decades to come to terms with my Scorpionic nature, most especially to take some responsibility for the energy I `give off', and which can still trigger the insecurities of (some) others, I can tell you that the Pluto-Mars square is indeed significant, and may take a while for you to absorb fully and so understand. Reading about it helps, but it takes time and research - the kind of research where you take note of a strange response to you, and file it away in your inner list of `people who react badly to me'.

Also, I notice your Moon-Jupiter opposition which can be somewhat nervous and even frantic at times. With Aqua Moon you would have some really good ideas and strategies, and feel fine about airing them. The energy that is generated by this placement may add to the Scorpio MC problems. It is clear that others misinterpret your intentions, and then steamroll you and so attempt to disempower you - all to satisfy some agenda only they understand.

In my own experience, it takes time to put it all together and to find ways to cope and to feel fine about how it is you conduct yourself.

Thanks. I like that idea -people who react badly to me list. There are times people have exploded on me for things that really don't make sense to me. I have even had friends witnessing the interaction who are just as shocked as I am by the reaction. A close friend of mine often says to me "I think people misunderstand you and your intentions." I would love to know here chart, but she isn't in astrology....yet.
It is interesting this same bully at work is always asking for my ideas. It would be the last place I go to believe some is intimidated by me, but now I wonder....

I haven't explored my moon-jupiter too much yet. I would say I am restless. Not balanced in what I was taught to value vs. what I really value thus this shift in where I am at in career. I spent my life doing something other than what I really want.
I attributed a lot of my relationship challenges due to the opposition. Still learning and exploring.
