I have pulled my birth chart and have started to study it. According to my chart I have no planets in the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 10th house.

If you are curious, I have:

1st Mercury
2nd Sun, Pluto, Mean Node, True Node
3rd Uranus
4th Neptune
5th Moon
9th Chiron
11th Mars and Jupiter
12th Saturn.

Sorry that I could upload my chart for you to see.

Thanks

Yes it's perfectly normal not to have every house occupied by a planet, we only have 11 planets counting Chiron, and 12 houses. You have a sign on each house with a ruler. If you have nothing in the 7th house you can look to Venus and planets in Libra. If nothing is in the 5th house you can look at the Sun and planets in Leo, to find more information on self-expression.

May I suggest you read the 'welcome to the world of astrology and other ---sticky' at the top of this forum? It has some great explanations, links etc and also has links to forum rules & regs...At the top of every forum there are lots of ‘stickys’ which explain matters in that forum, along with guidelines, tips and forum rules

basicaly if you want information from your chart the most effective way to do it, Is consider the house, Example;

you're 7th house is picese ruled by jupiter, Traditionaly its the 7th sign, ruled by venus.

So you consider the relationship of venus, and jupiter. And if you have any planets in the house, then those planets will also effect the rulers.
