Today, is a wonderful day for the first arrival plane to Fort Lee - of Afghan translators and their families. The U.S. will be bringing 200 people at a time via plane transport from Kabul, those lucky enough to have made it to the big city from their small villages. The U.S. said they cannot go to the villages, all of them are surrounded by Taliban now, so it's up to the translators who helped our soldiers, to somehow, get their family and themselves to Kabul, the capital City of Afghanistan.


I erected a chart based on approximate time of arrival. The time that the photo of the bus carrying the families was reported to be 5A.M. Local time. So I suggest that 2 hours prior, would have been approximately "touchdown" time in Virginia or as the news reported, "in the middle of the night".


I was pleasantly surprised to read elsewhere, that there are Afghan communities where they can assimilate and get the help they will obviously need for awhile, although their children will easily learn the new language of their new home.

This final revelation – Trump’s 27 December call to the acting attorney general in which he pleads “Just say the election was corrupt + leave the rest to me” – should trigger section 3 of the 14th amendment, which bars anyone from holding office who “engaged in insurrection” against the US.
