Because the Sun has entered Sagittarius:

Get your motor runnin'
Head out on the highway
Lookin' for adventure
In whatever comes our way

Yeah, darlin' go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once and
Explode into space

I like smoke and lightnin'
Heavy metal thunder
Racin' with the wind
And the feelin' that I'm under

Yeah, darlin' go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once and
Explode into space
Like a true nature's child
We were born, born to be wild
We can climb so high
I never wanna die

I love the doors. I have all they're albums. Also I have been listening to Grace by Jeff Buckley a lot lately. I also like k.d. lang, Wash me Clean is one of my favorites by her. Eddie Vedder Into the Wild is really good too.

Roll on summer? ...and "Summer Breeze"? ...Do you live south of the equator, by some chance...[As because, until now, I had assumed you to be both a North American native and resident.] ....or is that just some wishful thinking and or escapism on your part?

btw...I have to ask, as curiosity has finally got the better of me...is the avatar, you are presently using, from the film 'The Matrix'...or am I mistaken?

I lost myself on a cool, damp night
Gave myself in that misty light
Was hypnotized by a strange delight
Under a lilac tree

I made wine from the lilac tree
Put my heart in it's recipe
It makes me see what I want to see, and be what I want to be

When I think more than I wanna think I do things I never should do
I drink much more than I oughta drink
Because it brings me back to yooooou..

Lilac wine is sweet and heady like my love
I feel unsteady where's my love?

Listen to me I cannot see clearly
Isn't that she coming to me nearly?

Listen to me
Why is everything so hazy?
Isn't that she
Or am I just going crazy dear?

My Playlist: Jeff Buckley: Mojo Pin, Grace, Lilac Wine, So Real, Dream Brother.
His songs are beautiful. I love his voice too. And the instruments are great for lack of a better term. Oh and Natalie Merchant. I love Tigerlilly and I've been listening to Ophelia too.

A while ago, just when I was discovering and listening to Fairport Convention, you posted one of their songs on the board (one of the songs I was regularly listening to!) with perfect timing. I noticed, but said nothing.

Now, just when I'm discovering Pentangle, here you go again (how do you do it?), however not with a song I've heard before. That was really beautiful, the whole song and video. Thanks so much for posting it. :joyful:

While having not yet truly discovered Pentangle (until maybe just now), I have been entertaining a minor sensation over Bert Jansch as a solo artist, who I became aware of just after he died, apparently...

This one is pretty lo-fi, but it's nice to just hear him play,

Bert Jansch - Chambertin

And, I find myself lost for words on this one...

These are my favorites of his:

Jeff Buckley - Corpus Christi Carol
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgc6-rgA16k

Jeff Buckley - Yard of Blonde Girls
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2b6hQ5wib8

I can't say he's exactly my kind of music, but his voice is really spectacular. He had an ability to infuse every note, no matter how minor, with all of the intensity of his feelings. I'm pretty sure he sang with his soul, and his voice just followed suit.

I tried to find Judy Henske's version of Lilac Wine on YouTube, but it's not to be found, unfortunately. I want to post something of hers anyway,

Judy Henske - High Flying Bird

I would pretty much agree with the statement above.
