Grand trine?

With my natal Chiron at 18° Taurus (10th), my natal Sun at 18° Capricorn conjunct my South Node at 22° (6th), and with transiting Jupiter in Virgo at 22° (2nd), wouldn't this mean a grand trine I'm going through right now?

Yep. Jupiter is a traveling Guru/Guide/Philosopher, opening a gateway to your natal trine between Chiron and the Sun.

The Wounded Healer approaches the Guarded Woman, to help her with integrating secrets/memories from her past, and the Traveling Philosopher comes to share ideas to help her progress, on her path towards self confidence and self esteem.

A 'grand trine' involves planets

Chiron is a comet, not a planet

So transiting Jupiter is not in a grand trine aspect with your natal chart

GRAND TRINE = Three planets are connected by three trines
and form a triangle, the Grand Trine
around which planetary influences circulate with ease.

I tend to put a lot of importance on Chiron regardless that it's not a planet.
So I'm going to say it's a grand trine.
:)
Everyone is entitled to their opinion

QUOTE

A Grand Trine is a pattern in the chart when three planets form "trine" (120 degree) aspects with each other.
A true Grand Trine is when all three planets are in the same element
(water, air, earth or fire) in the three separate houses involved.
If three lines were drawn to each of the corresponding planets, it would form a nearly or exact equilateral triangle.

Here you go: http://m.imgur.com/2TQ18VL

I'm interested to hear what you have to say about it.
Briefly, begin with your Profection Year and Solar Return
The following illustration allows easy calculation of the Yearly Profected Ascendant
ProfectionWheel.jpg

To begin with, lets check out Yearly Profection
As this is your 33rd year
then you are currently experiencing a
10th house Profection Year

Your 10th Sign and House is TAURUS
and VENUS is ruler of your profected ascendant
with MOON as exalted ruler of your profected ascendant also an important influence

for the past year your natal VENUS is intensified
and any transits to or from your natal VENUS by transiting planets
as well as any transits from transiting VENUS to your natal planets
may potentially have influenced events during the past year,
and shall continue to do so

until your next solar return in January
dependent also on the natal promise as well

if you are interested to check back over the past year for transits of Venus
there is a FREE 9000 year EPHEMERIS at

Wow, that's awesome! I didn't know anything about Profections. Venus makes a lot of sense for the past year as well, because this year has been a good respite from more troublesome previous years. I have been resting a lot though, and a bit lazy. Lol.

I'm definitely going to look deeper into this!
