Hi,
I am currently working on developing free astrology charts for my site and have been looking at the problem of getting the user to input accurate latitude / longitude positions.
I have put together a little tool (not all my own work) which i have I believe gives pretty accurate positions for lots of towns/cities/places using google maps api.

I thought I would post this here in case any members find some use for it or feedback from you guys.
Also looking for input on what may be a better solution if any are around.
