Hi Honour And Devotion,
If i remember you were born in Turkey and your Sun was conjunct Sirius off-set by half a degree, i don't often follow projected fixed stars, i follow parans.

Secret Societies love aligning to Sirius, however i don't agree with all mentioned below:-

Please remember that just because you have a Sirius alignment not to get too self obsorbed or freaked out, you may get spiritual as you get older!
An example to how secret societies align to Sirius is usually by paran, and day starts which can be sunset previous to date, being ancient Greek Daymarker, Sunrise being Egyptian Day Marker or Modern Midnight.
The House of the Temple was aligned three times to Sirius, by scrolling down link below to "History", please note 31st May 1911 when ground breaking ceremony happened, ancient Greek day marker was used as Sirius set with the Sun on 30th May 1911 at location.
The Cornerstone was placed on 18th October 1911 and was dedicated on 18th October 1915, these two dates were aligned to midnight when Sirius was rising in the East along horizon in Washington DC.

Sadly Sirius is used in religion for many things regarding mundane electional astrology, it is difficult for a researcher to know the real influence.
Because we only know influence by untainted non-electional mundane astrology, i'm afraid that Sirius is used so much in belief/religion/secrets, that it is hard to know it's real energy.
