Angular planet

Which planets would be considered angular planet it is has to be conjunct an anhel or just placed in 1st 4th 7th 10th house ?

Both

Planets that are conjunct the angles within 5 degrees (some stretch this further) or in the 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th AND is 5 degrees away from the next cusp is considered angular.

If you use whole sign houses then every planet that is the same modality as the ascendant is angular.
