I thought i saw a thread on him but I couldn't find it in the search. I've read a few of David Icke's books and watched a few of his lectures. I've found that his books have a lot of accurate information, and he often overlays them with a spiritually hopeful message. But sometimes his theories are so wild and involved.. that you just can't help but wonder whether he is getting inside information deliberatly intended to mislead.. or maybe that he is just plain delerious or crazy?


Well, let the chart speak for itself! I think the sabians show a striking accurate portrayal of what is going on with this man.

i am pretty confident that the chart i have for him is accurate to the degree of the ascendant, as his symbols are so very fitting for him.


So I am placing this here rather than the celebrity section, as this is a depiction of his chart solely from the sabian symbols attained from specific degrees.


It is no wonder that I have taken an interest in this man and his books, as his asc is conjunct my sun and his mars is conjunct my mercury (all same degrees)

well that certainly is fitting. he has much to say about society, and many others have much to say about him...


one thing that is interesting about his chart is that his mercury @ 13.04 aries is conjunct his part of false love/corruption (asc + neptune-venus) at 13.05 aries. i don't necessarily think this means that his mind is corrupted, it might point to intellectual insights regarding corruption, though at this point i am not absolutely sure about that:

hmm.. you see.. he definitely communicates about the corruption of serpents (i think he even goes so far as saying that the serpent in the garden of eden was an alien reptilian)... and about the current discordant rhythm of natural energy.. and corruption in relationships, rituals, etc...

This last picture of the series dealing with the ninth scene, "Combustion," recalls in a collective sense the dramatic event represented by the first (Leo 1°). The street pageant, perhaps a tumultuous carnival, brings men and women to a peak of emotional excitement, and perhaps incandescence. But the pageant had to be planned carefully by individual minds that sought to express themselves in the process of giving a concrete form to the desires and expectations of the collective crowd. The theatricality of the Leo type is fully expressed here.
This is the fifth stage of the twenty-seventh five-fold sequence of phases. At this stage the mind of the individual is able to give a public DEMONSTRATION of his ability to sway the multitudes by a dramatic presentation of popularized ideals. This leads to a new scene on the cyclic journey around one's own universe, symbolized by the signs of the zodiac.

The inadequacy of past knowledge in time of crisis.
During this Act One of the cyclic process the emergence of new developments is emphasized. In time of crisis — as, for example, the "storm" being braved by the man of the last symbol (Phase 45) — the type of wisdom learned from this past remains in the background to be revived later on in new forms; what is emphasized is change. Traditional concepts are not adequate to confirm the new conditions of existence. Thus whenever this symbol comes to a seeker's attention it indicates that even the most consecrated tradition does not have the real answer to the problem.
At this first stage of the tenth five-fold sequence of phases of the cyclic process a seemingly negative picture is shown. From the Zen point of view the mind facing trouble should not depend on past concepts but should repeat: "Not this! Not that!" — until the pure Void is reached. We might speak here of the principle of CREATIVE FRUSTRATION.

Another interesting conjunction in his chart is part of delusion about a degree away from his IC. does this mean that he is a deluded person? Well the IC tells us WHY we are on our journey. His IC suggests that he is on this quest for a spiritual goal. His part of delusion interestingly talks about the elite, materialism, and reliance on tradition.. so maybe the "why" of his identity has to do a goal surrounding the delusions of these themes... or maybe it simply means that he is deluded about his spiritual role... i guess that is for you to decide after discerning the rest of the chart symbolism.

KEYNOTE: Total commitment to a transcendent goal.

A convent is a place made available by a community which believes in the possibility of reaching a world-transcending state of consciousness. It is made available to individuals who may be variously motivated. To some it is an escape from the intolerable pressures of family and society; to others it represents the possibility of pursuing in peace a spiritual ideal to which the whole being aspires and is totally dedicated. The important point, in this phase of the cyclic process, is that the existence of a convent expresses another aspect of the relationship between the society (its religion and culture) and the individual. In the preceding symbol society rewarded the individual for a noble performance in its service; here society accepts the fact that beyond its daily normal patterns of behavior and commitments, another way of life exists which, in a higher sense, also has social value. In the old Hindu society dominated by a rigid caste system, the ideal embodied in the sannyasi — the wandering holy man or yogi meditating in a forest or a cave, who had entirely given up all that caste implied — was seen to be the very culmination of the social process.
In this fourth stage symbol we see the paradoxical nature of the social process operating more strongly than ever. This derives from the fact that man's nature contains in seed the possibility of overcoming and transcending itself in acts of complete denials and of surrender to a "higher" Law or quality of being. All spiritual techniques are indeed paradoxical. Rigid discipline conditions pure inner freedom. The final goal is the attainment of TRANSCENDENT SECURITY. ​

KEYNOTE: The use of cultural and artistic processes as means to enhance personal comfort and appreciation.
Corning after the preceding symbol this one brings us back to the material, yet esthetic, aspect of the benefits a society can bring its members. A "rug" always implied to some extent something on which a person stands or sits. It is a foundation for cultural "under-standing," and as such it can have a magical or sacred meaning, as in the case of prayer rugs. The "woman in a convent" probably knows only the bare floor, because her goal is one of transcendence, of surrendering comfort as well as cultural patterns. But to the social elite, or even to the oriental devotee praying to his god, society offers the relative comfort of beautiful rugs so he may meet the universe, not merely in terms of the support the natural soil gives, but protected by and securely established on the mental-spiritual as well as manual achievements of those who keep the cultural symbols alive.

This is the last symbol in the fifty-ninth five-fold sequence. It shows the beautiful products of dedicated and inspired group performance at the level of tradition. It emphasizes the value of RELIANCE ON TRADITION.

this is an interesting part placement as it is conjunct the USA's north node. So he is someone who can bring helpful changes to USA.. and the symbol is definitely fitting for how he will make changes... inspiring people to open up to new levels of consiousness..​

KEYNOTE: The emergence of new mutations according to the great rhythms of the cosmos.
The ancient symbolism of the Cosmic Egg (Hiranyagharba in Sanskrit) out of which a new universe is born can be interpreted at several levels. Here we see the appearance of a new type of human being who is not born from "Ancestors" and who therefore is free from the inertia of mankind's past. He is a new product of evolution, a mutant. He constitutes a fresh projection of the creative Spirit that emanates from the cosmic or planetary Whole, and not from any local culture and racial tradition.
This second stage symbol is in contrast with the preceding one. It can be said to announce the EMERGENCE OF GLOBAL MAN for the New Age. The power of the whole is focused within him in perfect freedom from ancient standards of value based on local conditions. ​

This rather peculiar symbol seems to imply here that by imitating features belonging to a level of consciousness as yet unreachable, the process of growth may be accelerated. Eyeglasses symbolize intellectual development; the chiefs of primitive tribes in some instances have sought to impress their people by wearing spectacles without glass, or western hats – simply because these objects seemed characteristic of a race of superior people. This is similar to the process of growth by identification with a ‘Master’ or guru. In a sense it is mere pretending or make-believe, yet wearing the ‘mask’ of a god the medicine man at the time becomes for all practical purposes the incarnation of the god. Growth is always a hierachical process, even if the growing entity is not aware of it.
This is the first of five symbols constituting the fifty-third sequence. It suggests the value of LEARNING THROUGH IMITATION. ​



so he best can go about gaining spiritual fortune by using imaginitive imitation of intellectual/archetypal concepts in order to spark spiritual development... sounds very similar to what he's doing...

Whether this is fact or symbol, the meaning of this picture refers to a situation that lately has acquired great urgency. Our technological society is polluting not only our global environment, but the mind and feeling-responses of new generations as well. The search for a new way of life is seen by many people to be imperative.
In this fourth symbol of the fifty-second sequence we are told that the race's SURVIVAL has become a matter of extreme importance. Whole animal species may be destroyed by our civilization; mankind itself is in danger. Going to distant planets is hardly the answer. A generation may have to sacrifice itself for the sake of its descendants. ​

KEYNOTE: The ever-present possibility of beginning again on a new foundation of values.
This symbol hardly needs to be interpreted, except for pointing out that these first three symbols beginning the second hemicycle of the cyclic process should be seen as a basic trinity. It can be related to the process of true Initiation: (1) The experience of the undying Form of perfection; (2) The release of the energy incorporated in the Form in order to reach "That-which-is-beyond-form-and-name"; (3) The re-embodiment of energy in a new creative Act.
The third stage of this thirty-seventh sequence leads us to a vision of the fulfilled purpose of the first half of the cycle. What emerged hesitantly from the ocean of infinite potentiality (Aries 1°) now faces a totally new world in a truly individualized form of existence. He or she is ready to act significantly in the sphere of culture and social togetherness, the sphere in which an individual, aware of his archetypal essence and planetary function, can play his true role (dharma). Lilith is a telling placement, and can often give us an indication of an aspect of the persons nature that they wish to remain hidden. ​

This symbol may be interpreted at the strictly social level – the hunter’s trophies, his pride in showing them to members of his high-class club, etc. But if one refers to the higher spiritual-mental implications of the sign Leo, one can see in this picture a reference to man’s capacity to overcome the animalistic tendencies of his bio-psychic nature according to certain traditional procedures. The implication of being ‘formally dressed’ is that an important if not the most important, goal the individual had in developing this capacity has been to ‘prove himself’ – to others, as well as perhaps to himself. ​



This might relate to the fact that his spiritual pursuits allow him to retain wealth and status... an ulterior motive that could be discrediting... some might even say he embelishes or fabricates material in his books in order to make money.. though other symbols in his chart suggest that this is not his sole or only motive and that he does have concern towards what he writes about.. A great deal of what is glowingly written about the Aquarian Age is probably sheer glamour. The New Age should be one in which man learns to use the power generated by human togetherness and group interplay — that is, to use it harmoniously for the welfare of the whole of which all individuals are parts, humanity and the planet Earth. This has never been achieved and only very rarely attempted. Mankind today must make a thorough and irresistible attempt, or be nearly destroyed — except for a creative "remnant" of seed-persons who would have to begin again from new foundations. In the field of big business, of huge war undertakings (like the Normandy landing in World War II) or of major national efforts (like the Moon landings) great results have been achieved, but the motive and the quality of the human interrelationships involved were neither of permanent significance nor invested with a truly harmonic quality. If anything represents the type of response that a well-developed society gives to the individual who successfully pours their energy into the skillful externalization of the great images of its culture, it is the opera. The operatic prima donna is not merely a lonely performer, like the piano virtuoso (Gemini 13°); he or she is the star in a collective effort. The opera is not only music, but a story, a mythos, which embodies some of the most basic images and emotions characterizing the culture that gave it birth. Euro-American culture is indeed extolled — or condemned — by its operas and their lurid and tragic passions. It is interesting to compare the opera with the equivalent type of social performances and their topics in India, Java or Tibet.
At this first stage of the twenty-third five-fold sequence of cyclic phases we find the drive toward individualization by means of concrete forms of cultural activity glorified in social and financial success. At first, Marc Jones interpreted the "gigantic tent" as the locale for a revivalist's meeting; later he suggested a circus tent instead. In a sense, the basic meaning is the same whether it is the traditional performance of skilled clowns, acrobats or animal trainers, or that of a religious fundamentalist dramatizing an old religious imagery, what takes place is the use of personal achievement and conviction to bring a crowd to a state of enthusiasm sufficient to make it forget its boredom with everyday routine or its familiar sins of commission or omission.​
At this third stage of the seventieth five-fold sequence, the individual person and the collectivity are brought together in a significant performance which subtly strengthens the communal spirit directly or indirectly. The implication of the symbol, whenever it is found operating, is that the time has come for the individual to dare to present himself and his works to his community for applause, or for the purpose of attracting a following. What is suggested is PUBLIC SELF-DRAMATIZATION.

There are always moments which focus in our minds the longing to re-ground ourselves in the great achievements of the past. The number 3 suggests completeness; esoteric traditions speak of the three-fold Soul, or of three fundamental "Rays" — of Power, of Love-Wisdom, and of Intelligence-in-action. Meditation, in its deepest sense, is a return to Source — an attempt to re-identify oneself with one's archetypal essence of being, which is triune in manifestation, and now) after confused but challenging wanderings, to identify oneself consciously with this "essence." i think from the symbols we can see that this is someone who took the time to develop ideals that spark change and open minds... it is also apparent from the symbols that he is not opposed to dramatism and embellishment for the sake of personal gain/ sales... (the more i think back on the symbolism of his IC & part of delusion/duplicity, the more this becomes apparent: deception regarding his goal towards material comfort.) But the symbolism also suggests concern for the future wellbeing of humanity in spite of those material-driven shortcomings. Balancing material and spiritual success seems to be a theme of this chart.

and here we are some odd hours later and I found myself looking up some more parts.. lol.. this is fun and actually typing up my thoughts on a celebs chart is actually rather helpful.. if anyone reads all of this I will be amazed :p


as for the question of “whose side is he on?”… it seems a lot of people question that.. and I should point out that though I mentioned symbols pointing to some level of material gain, I am in no way saying that he has evil intentions or something of the sort. actually much of the symbolism shows someone who is spiritually driven…

KEYNOTE: The dedication of human beings to the service of their community, and the assurance that it will be emotionally sustained by the people at large.

Here we see at work the emotion-rousing appeal of social activities which demand the surrendering by the individual of his personal way of life, his opinions and his comfort. The socializing process is pictured in all its intensity but what is implied even more is the support that the socialized person can expect from the collectivity if he is ready to act and to sacrifice himself for the nation or the group.

This is the first symbol of the sixty-eighth series. It allegorizes the power generated by a totally accepted and enforced collective discipline, and the exaltation and mass response which he who has achieved this self-surrender to a social tradition can expect in return.
The Keyword is GROUP-RESPONSIBILITY.

another symbol showing motives for the good of humanity.. as this shows who we are influenced by, it gives light into what we attract into our lives and thus we put out into the world for others.. interesting how this one talks about self sacrifice and there is plenty of that going on with him regarding getting such a bad wrap from people.. with his symbolism of mercury it seems that he does know a bit of what he is talking about..

KEYNOTE:A release from unbearable pressures, freeing one for new tasks.

This symbol can easily be misinterpreted, for while it obviously has a connotation of failure, it nevertheless depicts a particular state of the complex relationship of an individual to his community. The bankruptcy proceedings mentioned here should not be construed as referring to a fraudulent type of bankruptcy. At least in the United States bankruptcy does not imply a moral condemnation; rather, it means that individual failure cannot be separated from the health of the community. The special nature of the whole is implied in the failure of the part to perform adequately under particularly harsh economic conditions. A society which enthrones the principle of ruthless competition must also develop mechanisms to exteriorize the principle of compassion. The latter was at first emphasized by Northern Buddhism, and soon after by Christianity. The concept of atonement is directly related to that of release from unbearable economic pressures in bankruptcy.

This is the third stage in the eighteenth sequence of cyclic phases. In the first two stages we have seen the emergence of a new consciousness based on leaving behind the externals of bio-psychic living in its at least relatively wild and exuberant aspect. Here we have another kind of "leaving behind," a LIBERATION FROM THE PAST.
　
notice how it speaks again of liberation from the past and the concept of “new man” and change came up previously.. so this symbol is an example of one way he perceives to let go of the past.. a symbol talking of leaving behind past materialism through compassion.. I think this speaks a lot of his internal conflicts and his views on society.. all wrapped up in his lot of loved ones.. that’s pretty powerful!

A great person able to display a multitude of gifts is always, at one level or another, the consummation of a long past of efforts and victories. As a great occultist once wrote: "Adepts are the flowering of their races and cultures." The peacock is the bird consecrated to Venus; in occult tradition the Promethean Spirits who gave to animal mankind the divine gift of self-conscious intelligence had come from "Venus" — which may or may not refer to the physical planet we can observe in the sky.

Everyone who is spiritually minded, please read this mans symbols and get yourself a copy of his books or even scratch that watch his free leactures there are plenty of them online.I will not deny that this mans chart does not show the propensity towards extravagance, but every person has flaws.This man is working with the spiritual and he gives tons of information in his books about what is being done to humanity and who is doing it. I am not saying that there will not be some things incorrect in his books. But his message is pure and he's trying to help you open your mind up and your heart up. Actually he is trying to open up the energy lying dormant in your body and soul. Open your eyes and look around you. And remember that we are all multi-faceted beings connected with the SOURCE and we have the power to CHOOSE to return to it. And it is a billion times better than the sorrow of this world.
Remember, that we all choose to be locked into this sorrow. Self-made slaves. Take some RESPONSIBILITY for the actions of those around you because we are all in this together.

I believe that this mans symbol for his mercury at 15 aries says it all. He knows what he's talking about for the most part.

He talks about the Aliens who are really taking over the planet. Unless this is a case of "Men in Black" much of his stuff is really crazy. While I enjoy the occasional conspiracy theory as much as anyone, his whole life is one conspiracy theory after another. And its all his opinion based on nothing much more than his opinion.

He's making a lot of money on people's fears.

If you read it with the realization that "Aliens"Just means devil and devil just means... separation... it ALL MAKES SENSE. Promise, Zarathu. And even if he is a little crazy and exaggerates, the spiritual message is not based in fear it is based on truth and honesty. (everyone has their flaws and their delusions and uncertainties but that doesn't mean that they cannot speak truth..) He actually sticks to a lot of FACTS, aside from the alien stuff. As in, mentioning the ties that the rothschilds goldman sachs and all countless others have to the government and big business who are trying to keep humanity enslaved to their material driven desires. Now, would you like to talk about what in his chart supports your idea that he is a crazy conspiracy theorist, or no? I've given countless examples of symbols that show his spiritual talents and a proclivity towards teaching for the good of humanity. I've also shown evidence to support that this man knows what he talks about.

I feel like I need to clarify something as I never intended to smear David Icke's name in any way when I questioned whether he had any materially driven motives.The man actually had a very formidable career in newscasting.He gave that up and followed his spiritual purpose, lecturing across country and being flat broke for some time before making a name for himself on the merit of his knowledge.Unless we know for certain what this man is using his money for, we can not blame him solely for being successful.

i'm going to say one last thing on this thread right now for all those of you who happen to be following along.

True Astrology is the best secret to expose. (aside from love though astrological knowledge leads to love) This message flows truth through every ounce of the universe's being and I have the math and astrological knowledge (and a very very wonderful and honorable friend and teacher) to back it up if anybody wishes to question it.

I was being overzealous there due to my own passion of astrology.

Also, when I said that my friend and teacher backs me in all of this, I was being misleading. While I have faith that he backs me as friend and person, he has no reason to back all of my ideals or what I say.

Wow TY for doing this work. It's important to stay open to information (that's just being scientific) while being open to the fact that deception can come from anywhere.

I read recently on Icke's site an article he linked to endorsing the truth of astrology. So the man himself believes astrology is an accurate source of info and I assume he has some self-awareness about his chart.

Much of what you said about his sincerity, PV, reminds me of what this woman Peggy Kane said about him. She does "Reverse EVP" research and is worth looking into if one is open to the idea that we are not the top of the food chain (energetic/ET parasites enslaving the race). The idea is that you can slow and reverse speech down and hear truths (un)betraying the lies spoken by demagogues. I think Reverse EVP believers claim that this is a way of finding subconscious truths in what ppl say. She was asked if she'd done it on Icke and that when she did, his reverse EVP's were very much aligned with the things he was ostensibly saying. She made the conclusion that he was by and large honest in what he said.

I have spent much time on Icke's work and can say that he has "called it" on enough occasions that to just throw the whole thing out is as bad as dogmatically being uncritical. His work has been a fantastic gateway for me to find other great researchers. More importantly, he always gives resources, so to just flog him for having "crazy ideas" is pretty weak.

The possibility that he is "one of them" is on the table in my opinion. I truly don't think so, but the truth of the world's power-cabal is that they engage very much in sort of "secretly" telling the truth, or hiding it in plain sight. The idea is that much like the story of Dracula needing to be invited in, the occult "magic" that the power "elite" use hinges on using our own consent against us. That we have the power of manifestation but don't believe it anymore, and thus it can be used to manifest our own prison w/o our consciously realizing that's what we're doing. This explains much of why the power "elite" allow evidence of their crimes to go out in the open, or loudly broadcast and reported even. I say this b/c, if there is truth to all that, then I've considered that having a "one-stop shop" in the conspiracy realm that is David Icke (he really does seem to "have it all" as far as conspiracies go) could be the ultimate in admitting the planET's agenda which would fulfill the loose need for admitting their actions and taking our silence as consent.

I am unsure where I stand on the issue of that last paragraph; that they do that is obvious (just look up "Dark Knight Returns Batman Sandy Hook" and tell me that was coincidence!); but if it's true, it seems like such bullship to say that we "consent" to something without knowing we're consenting to it, and so we should be able to 'negate' anything like these 'silent contracts' we've inadvertently 'signed' with our free will pretty easily. That would be the good news. But before we do that, you have to wonder (if you're going to believe that we manifest reality, which we do and synchronicities/deja vu moments are proof of that) if anyone who seems to be "fighting for truth" is a form of false opposition meant to manage the would-be opposition (like controlling both sides of a game; it's possibly why there is a lot of "chessboard" black and white square symbolism in Freemasonry and the 'royal' family). But all that said, I think Icke is "one of us", I only consider the alternate because the possibilities need to be laid out like a computer calculates chess moves. I've been burned by false "left gatekeepers" before, as I believe Noam Chomsky and Democracy Now might be. That there is a massive conspiracy is true, and I think Icke is a great gateway but also ultimate source on much of this. Like I said, he always gives mountains of sources, so I don't really like much of the scoffing dismissal he gets.

Phoenix Venus, this was an invaluable service!!! Very telling for sure. I'm astounded by how accurate the "parts" of a chart have been in my own chart, I'm inclined to believe these here. And having read much of his work I agree with you about how fitting so much of that research is. Especially the "Parade" degree in his Leo!
