Effect of Nine Stones Ring

Astrologically it seems wearing a gemstone is somewhat complex.Because we have to care the matching gemstone as our born time.
But Nine stones ring is becoming very famous and there are nine gems in that ring those related with each and every planet.
Can this make a trouble for the wearer if he/she wear it in a bad period?
If so when should wear it to have a good fortune?

A complex issue: a person in a good dasa period, with a very balanced natal, will obtain great benefit from the 9 stone combination; however, in other circumstances it can bring in excess tridosha influences, influences of debilitated/malefic planets or rashi's, and while NONE of these influences is that significant, the cumulative effect on the subtle field, if the combination is worn year in and year out, can be potentially disturbing: individualization, rather than generic one size fits all, is required in this matter as it is in any other subtle-energy question.

Ok.Think he or she wear it on a period of Saturn dasa (Antar and Maha).
What type of influence will have that person if saturn is exalted(Uchcha) in that lagna?

It will enhance all of the positive Saturn influences: patience, intelligence, careful consideration, long-lasting, firm situations, objectivity in outlook and actions, and so on (there are some good works on Saturn available in Indian and also at astro-america.com: such as "Saturn the Kingmaker" and "Saturn as Friend and Guide"; these works will provide better insight on the positive qualities of this most potent planet)

Navratna ring is like multivamin. Although there are differences between multivatimin for children, adult, male, female, seniors and so on, Navratna ring has no such variation. Some points to be noted.

1. One can get them set in gold or sliver.
2. All stones are of same size. In case of circular setting, Ruby can be of upto twice weight of other stones.
3. Genune stones must be used:
3.1 Ruby
3.2 Pearl
3.3 Red Coral
3.4 Emrald
3.5 Yellow Sapphire
3.6 Diamond
3.7 Blue Sapphire
3.8 Gomed
3.9 Cat's Eye
4. It must be set in perticular order
5. While wearing, Blue Sapphire should be pointing towards body
6. Somtimes immitations are used. They are not effective.
7. It will provide overall benefit and has no relationship with any Dasa, Mahadasa, Anterdasa or Transit.
8. Just like multivitamin, everyone won't be getting benefit from Navratna.

Due to some precious stones, a good Navratna ring costs in the range of $500 to $2000.

My only disagreement (mild one) with the above is that the conditions of the natal chart (and possibly of dasa periods depeneding upon ashtakavarga analysis) could modify the influences (or degree of influence) of the navratna; however we both agree that not everyone will derive benefit from the navratna, and we both agree that very often the navratna will be of benefit to many.
Perhaps because of my homeopathic outlook in healing, I do tend to favor individualization of subtle healing methods (such as gems/lithotherapy) over "one size fits all" approaches...
