Jupiter 8th house - Just awful for divorce

Do you agree? Ive noticed people with Jupiter in th 8th house going through a divorce in which the ex-spouse seems to benefit more. Any similar stories on your divorce. I already know there was a post about jupiter in the 8th and being rich, but this one is about those who have gone through a divorce.

I have Jupiter in Scorpio in the 8th. Yes, my ex-husband benefited more but I *chose* to only take half of the property we owned together and walked away from anything else. I also have Neptune in my 8th. Perhaps that's why. Not that it really matters. If I had to do it again, I'd do the same. I am not gonna be *that* woman who sucked her ex financially dry.

What is it about this placement. During your marriage, did you motivate or push him to make more money, or did it just happen that way? I know what the 8th house, one can support or motivate people in ways that is not very obvious.

You'd have to look at the condition of Jupiter. Is Jupiter in Rulership? Exalted? in Detriment or Fall? Retrograde? Peregrine? In square or opposition to a Malefic? In aspect with a Planet from a Cadent House?

Jupiter in Cancer in the 8th is not the same as Jupiter in Gemini in the 8th, and that's different from Jupiter in Cancer in the 8th square a Peregrine Sun (or Moon) or trine Saturn in the 12th.

Didn't exactly *push* him to make more money, but yes, I motivated him to go for promotions. He did well, but he's no Bill Gates, if that's the impression you're getting.

My Jupiter is in Scorpio, retrograde, opposing my Saturn in Gemini in the 2nd, trining Mercury in Cancer in the 4th, sextiling Pluto in Virgo in the 7th.

I have Jupiter in the 8th in scorpio at the 24th degree but its aspects are to sextile the moon in the 6th , and inconjunct the sun.

My divorce...was a long drawn out affair. I do not think either one of us came out ahead. But I know one thing for sure, I suffered financially for quite awhile afterwards due to lack of child support for almost two years. Long story short he was in litigation for workers comp so everything got stalled. I had two small children as in day care young. Not pretty. And guess who helped me out? Two guesses and the first doesn't count.

I have Jupiter in 8th well aspected, great for sex, inheritances and joint finances. I expect your Jupiter to be debiltated and/or badly aspected. Plus go look see what your transits and progressions are doing. If you are having hard times, look at what T Saturn is doing and what house it's in...

Firstly, for a proper evaluation you should consider posting your chart with progressions and transits on same wheel found in extended chart selection. Reduce the ratio of orbs to 80%, select smallest image size 63% on picture, then choose house system (my personal preference is for Equal house rather than the default of placidus), right mouse click and select 'save target pic as' and save to hard drive then upload here
