Is nursing really my calling?

Thank you very much for the responses. I will make a new thread once I have found my calling. This might take some time though. Love and light.

Edit: Added own astrology interpretation

Hello everyone,

It seems like my chart is pointing to nursing with that 6th house virgo stellium. But I'm still confused. I've sought help from different psychics (who got some things right) but they see different things when it comes to my career. If possible I do not want to go back and work in a hospital. Could you help me pinpoint which nursing specialty should I be pursuing?

Is it hemodialysis, dermatology, or should even work in a hospital? Should I study to be a medical coder? Could it be that it's not nursing?

Correct me if I'm wrong: Sun and Jupiter in 5th leo is related to kids, arts and creativity, saturn in 11th aquarius is related to group/communities. With the trines from 6th to 10th, could it also be related to telecommunications? Mercury in 6th virgo to writing/journalism?

I honestly want to help others and do something good to the world. But I don't know what it is. And I don't want to suffer the same depression. If I need to go back to school and study again, I will work and save money for that. I just want a happy and fulfilling job.

I'll probably take on a temporary job as I've been unemployed for a year now. But I want to know what I would be working on to make everything bearable. Thank you in advance. I hope you could help me.

It doesn't exactly look like nursing, not even the medical field, actually.

For career related issues look first at the 10th house and 10th lord, then Sun and additionally chart ruler. The 6th says only something about your day-to-day work environment/structure.

Hello, sorry for that interpretation, haha, I am very much new to Astrology. I am still reading the basics. Although I had a very bad experience with hospital nursing, I'm mostly considering jobs that aren't very far from the medical field.

If it's not too much to ask could you recommend any good books for beginners like me? And essential books that I should read as I advance in my studies? especially regarding career? I have googled resources and checked this forum and I was a bit overwhelmed. Thank you in advance!
There are a lot more 6th house professions than just the medical field. And the medical field is quite huge, so there are a lot of possibilities. I'd say nursing has more of a Moon/Cancer vibe. And as a general rule, if your choice doesn't feel like a 'hell yes!' then it's usually a no.

If you are a beginner, I suggest you ignore the internet for a while and stick to books instead until you feel sufficiently sure about what you are doing.

The best book on signs is probably Linda Goodman's Sun Signs. Alan Leo's Astrology for All and Marion March's The Only Way to Learn Astrology series are also good choices for beginners.

Re: professional life and career, Hazel Dixon-Cooper's Work On A Rotten Day is probably a good choice for beginners as well.

One book I really recommend is The Rulership Book by Rex E. Bills - not because it is exceptionally good (I find it quite controversial, actually) but because of the plethora of associations it offers for every planet, sign and house.

Yes, you're right, there could be a lot of jobs connected to the medical field. Haha, thank you for that advise. I always see multitude of possibilities that’s why I’m always having a hard time deciding with anything.

Thank you very much for these book recommendations! I really appreciate it. Love and light to you sir.
Keep in mind that your 10th house is in Capricorn, a very ambitious sign. Your 10th lord is in the 11th, which deals more with humanity at large than individual humans. And your Sun is in the 5th (play) and in Leo (leadership). Just your chart ruler is in the 6th. So that's only 1 out of 4 indicators that are pointing to a career in the medical field. Nursing is probably too small of a box for you.

Love and light sounds good.

While I think it is great you are thinking about nursing, I feel I have to say that it is a hard job, multi disciplinaries etc and hard going. However, if you get through the training and specialise and really push yourself, you have to really work hard in nursing, it is very satisfying. I wish you luck and perseverance.

Hi,

I agree with Sagittarius Jupiter. Nursing is a good choice for the native.

The native has a Saturn ruled MC and that Saturn is in Aquarius, in the 11th house, so you want to do good to society. To add to that, the native has several planets in Virgo and the 6th house. I relate Virgo to the medical field, so nursing fits well again. Also, if we are to consider Neptune, I would say that compassion is a key factor in the career. Now being a govt. employee or a banker hardly has any element of compassion. So, again nursing seems to fit well.

Don't be ashame to ask a reading on your chart - that's the place here, we're learning on astrology!

I had a slight look at your chart but before I am telling you some ideas I want to see your Lilith and your POF.

And when you are asking for your familiy influences, do you mean your parents or your siblings or other relatives?

Avoid impulsiveness and exagerated criticism ......, but there will not be a real danger for that because you have a very clear head  and great abilities for patience...

Hi Ikarishin12,

You wrote " I wanted to die.", and this can be the negative side from the conjunction of Saturn and Lilith in your house of hope (11th). Please, work on this constellation and get it in the positiv way, that is, for me, that you could be the guide, in a future, for wisdom or spiritual aims. Believe that once dead you cannot be helpful for anyone - so that gives no sens. It has nothing to do with being not afraid but with responsibilities that you ought to others and especially to your family.
But I prefer your Lilith in the 10th, and this means for me that you dispose of a great ability of analytical thinking. Therefore, if you want to work in a medical domain, you can become naturally an analyst. Or, regarding the stellium in your 6th, you can use your abilities to another section of medical domains like, for example, the nutrition sectors.

Wen you said " I fear making small mistakes, killing a patient" I immediately thought at your position of Pluton, the Lord of Scorpio who is in his own domicile (sign) and in his house (8th) squarring Jupiter and the Sun in the house of children. Were there a death of a child in your environment?
But this position of Pluton-Jupiter-Sun can signifie, that you, the Sun, being in the house of romance, that your destiny is to be a lover with deep and intensive feelings (Pluton) accompanied with struggles of obsessed guiltiness - perhaps?

And this other remark: "My maternal aunt helped pay for my college tuition fee and my mother's siblings in general always help us financially" is shown by your Moon in the third house and beeing the Lord of your 4th.

You are young and in the beginning of your life, therefore what you call your nervosity could turn into a strong leader position as you have Uranus on your MC. Uranus is here like a second Sun! And all in all with your 10th house in Capricorn you cannot do other things than reaching your aim and carry out your life plan. But Capri demand operating slowly but surely.:happy:

For me you have a very good natal chart. And even with the POF in the 2nd house, it seems to me, that you'll come out of poverty.

Here, for you, I did just a small insight on your chart, but there are much more to explain and so it isn't a real interpretation, only some directions of my point of view.
