Taking in the placements, aspects, & house placements, how would this persons overall presence, in terms of public speaking, be received by an audience. Also, would people be repelled or compelled to listen/follow this individual. I have mixed feelings about it so I was wondering about others’ interpretations
Here’s a link to the chart below

Public speaking is often suggested by Mercury/Moon contacts, and verbal or mental successes are often suggested by Mercury/Jupiter contacts.

One of the most successful public speakers is Jordan Peterson. He has a Grand Trine Mercury/Moon/Saturn, so his speaking is more than a little philosophical. It attempts to tackle challenging and serious subjects with a meticulous attempt to define his terms. He also has a Mercury/Jupiter/Pluto T-square that is part of being a scholar.

Your chart is pretty good in that regard. Mars squares the Mercury/Moon midpoint and Mercury is sextile Jupiter. Furthermore, Mercury is angular by being on the IC. It looks good to me. If you have ambitions to be a public speaker, your chart does not oppose that in any way.

Leadership is a different path, and it has different requirements. The IC is populated by Sun/Pluto/Mercury, so there is some leaderships implied there. It will be heavily colored by your deep urge to be influential and convincing. Some will consider you stubborn and domineering, but I can see the leadership urge and the leadership path.

Main Rulerships:
Employment, profession or trade
also employers and those in command.

Honour, prestige, reputation, power, control, dignity, glory
acclaim, advancement - the worldly position
career or life-interest that attains these.
Likelihood of success relative to one's station in life.
Fame, infamy, notoriety - the public eye.

Unfavourable publicity if afflicted.

The Sun, Jupiter or Venus, if well aspected
indicate professional success

Saturn indicates responsibility
or, if badly afflicted, disgrace and ruin.

So it is his politics, or what you consider to the right of you, by which you disqualify the remark. Actually, his success in the public speaking field is a matter of public record regardless what his politics are, whether or not he is a White Supremacist, or whether he is a cold-blooded killer, or whether he is a Corporate Shill, or whether he is a xenophobe, etc., etc., etc., etc.

Politics usually ruins the astrology. This was evident by the number of expert astrologers who took to the internet in 2016 to predict a win for Hillary Clinton. Most of the astrologers I've met who have a political axe to grind, make very predictable astrological mistakes.

He has a medical emergency, and medical emergencies are common to his family. That does not contradict a successful career in public speaking. Your attempt to proselytize your politics is utterly irrelevant to the thread, and it is not a logical comment on The Public Speaking Field.

"Simply stated"? You launched a smear campaign against Peterson because I used him as an example of public speaking. You tried to bait me with your links to extreme political literature. I am not interested in your extreme political literature.

It is important that

the time of birth of the chart is based on reliable data
otherwise any delineation is unreliable
ours is an astrological learning forum
and the following comprises the significations of MERCURY
which are relevant to communication of any kind
including PUBLIC SPEAKING

Mercury completes 46 sidereal cycles and 145 synodic cycles with 46 years.
It has retreating arcs of 12 degrees for 20 days.
Mercury is alternating between moistening and drying, and common. Stilbon makes those born under it sallow, of moderate height, graceful, with beautiful eyes, moderately curling hair, having excess of moist when morning rising, and light, with straight hair and olive complexion, lean and spare, glancing brilliant eyes, somewhat ruddy, having excess of dry when evening rising, and in general, youthful and athletic, articulate, versatile, intelligent, tricky, busy, curious and efficient. Mercury controls law, intelligence, speech, reason, commerce, youth, education, writing, games, disputation, brotherhood, interpretation, messengers, numbers, calculation, geometry, deception, theft, community, exercise, service, profit, inventions, attendance, athletics, wrestling, hearing, declamation, certification, supervision, weighing and measuring, testing coins, versatility, critical thinking, judgement, marketing, banking, temple builders, modelers, sculptors, doctors, teachers, lawyers, orators, philosophers, architects, musicians, diviners, dream interpreters, sacrificers and augurs, astrologers, prophets, braiders, weavers, weight lifters, gamblers, mimes, sleight of hand, methodical work, military strategy, labour contracting, rhythmic performance, authority, luxury, renting, display of public service, irregular and disturbed outcomes with malefics, the vestibular system, the gustatory system, the auditory system, currency, copper, varied colours and pungent tastes. It is chronocrator over childhood up to the 14th year.
