will I ever recover from depresion?

I am in depresion for almost 8 months... not as bad as it was at the begining but not very well at the moment... so will I recover or not... completely...

This depresion comes from an event that happened in March, and since then things have gotten worse... I mean my life, my relationship with others... not so well I might say...
