Career help please

Hello all, I’m very lost in regards to career. I’m currently a stay at home mom to my two young children but I would like to be self sufficient in the future and get out into the world.

Based on my natal chart, what fields of work would I be most suited for??

Thank you so much for any and all help!!

Had you thought of counseling? The requirements aren't as stiff as for clinical psychology. I am looking at your 7th house sun in Taurus, and your moon-Pluto in the first house. The one is calming, the other can focus like a laser on what troubles other people.

confirmation required whether time of birth from medical records
or from recollection of family membersimportant
because
IF time of birth is only twenty minutes earlier
would have been a Libra ascendant
with Cancer Midheaven/MC

Thank you so much for your response Waybread!

I have thought of counseling! I’ve always been interested in psychology, however, I can be somewhat awkward in my communication at times, which I believe is due to my mercury squares. I’m aiming to overcome this tendency but I worry if I wouldn’t be the best for feedback etc??

Some other careers I’ve considered are teaching, and the medical or law field. Do you see anything in regards to any of these career paths??

Thank you again!

Hello JupiterASC, thank you for your response! Confirming that the birth time listed is what’s on my medical records. I would of not minded a bit though being a Libra ASC with a Cancer MC lol!

The main focus of counseling these days is to ask questions that get the clients/patients to express their own answers. A counselor or psychologist isn't there to lecture, so much as to know what questions to ask; and then to offer some simple guidance. Being a good listener is key. I thought with your moon-Pluto in your first house, you may have good instincts about getting people to be truthful with themselves.

The sun in the 7th house suggests that you feel most like yourself when you are in a committed relationship. Traditionally this was marriage, but the 7th actually rules one-on-one relationships or partnerships of various kinds. It might be a tennis partner, for example, or a professional-client relationship.

Becoming a practicing psychologist (clinical psychology) usually requires a M. S. or Ph. D. degree, with many clinical hours, but it does enable you to diagnose and work with people with mental illness. Counseling credentials are not as stringent, and can include things like addictions counseling, high school guidance counseling, and marriage counselling.

With your animation background, you could also consider art therapy.

There are some good indications for law in your chart. The 9th house rules the law as a body of knowledge, so Jupiter, Chiron and Mars up there should be helpful. The 7th house rules litigation, because it is also the house of open enemies. Some legal careers would not require you to think quickly on your feet in a courtroom setting, so a little sleuthing in this area would be helpful.

Medical school might be a tall order at this stage of life: do you have the coursework qualifications for admission? And then it's highly competitive. Learning to become a nurse, lab technician, or rehabilitation specialist would require less schooling. So think about how many years you would need to complete one of these programs.
