Hey... this is my first post. I'm not really big on forums, but thought that should come on here. I'm in pretty dire need of some help; and, am going through a particularly rough period of time in my life right now, and I don't have a place to talk about these issues with anybody. I got into astrology...heavily, only a few months back.
I'll get straight to the point. I need help, opinions, and advice. I'm facing a difficult situation in my life right now. Career, family, finances and relationships and my overall life are basically a complete mess, and in that order.
I am now having, and have always had problems with my family. Ok. Let me start again, with some background info. I had never believed in astrology before, and never took it seriously. I got into Masonry for awhile, a while back and read M&D. It had a pretty profound impact on me. It wasn't only until recently that I did; after some serious study and contemplating of my birth chart, that I started taking it seriously. I may be a fool. But it seems real, to me. And... I don't know what else to believe in.
And, I take it very seriously. Basically, the last few months had been spent digging deep into the astrology, learning the symbols, codes and how to read and interpret charts and aspects, etc. basically learning everything I can about astrology. I've taken it very seriously.
I've come to the realization the science of ancient times: is the only valid, true and withstanding system forever...Unless something revolutionary comes along.
I'm open to an interpretation of my charts. I'm pretty well versed in both of the Vedic and Eliptic systems of astrology, and believe in both of them, I think. I pretty much know what's going on with me overall.... but am always open to suggestions, insights and further advice. I'm under the impression that most of the ancients relied on the sidereal systems of astrology as reference for their charts and astrological interpretation. I'm talking ancient Egyptians, Babylonians, Chaldeans and Sumerians..
It wasn't until the Hellenization and the teachings of Ptolemy, that that changed.
My Chiron is in the tenth right now, as it's sitting in the tenth house conjunct with Lilith being aspected by Saturn and Ketu/ South Node in the third house..it depends on which system- but that's there. This has never been an easy area for me (career) and this is mainly what I'm seeking help with here, quite desperately... actually.
I've had struggles with this my entire life, and my father, and I'd say it's my life's pretty biggest obstacle and hurdle, by far. The other, being my family...and family relations.
And travel. Those three things. My Venus sits with my South node in the second house, dematerializing everything it touches and this makes my life hard. Rahu/N. Node in the 8th and 9th respectively give me an itch for travel and strange things, the occult, and foreign lands. Mars Uranus and Neptune sit in my fourth...you can guess how that goes.... also aspecting my tenth.
I guess, I'm just seeking a place to talk to others, give & gain feedback, and a place to discuss these things with someone. I felt pretty isolated, like I didn't have a place to go to, and talk about all of these things - with people that understood. That's basically why I'm here.
