The Simpsons, snowflakes and the Apu controversy

After reading the news today I found out some comedian made a documentary about the simpson's character Apu being offensive to south-east asians, and obviously gathering all the sjw from the internet behind him in a rally to get apu "retired" from the Simpsons.

Apparently in last Sunday's episode, the simpsons made a response to that. I've just finished watching the documentary.

Have we reached the peak of sensitivity and stupidity? Is this now how it is that we attack comedy in all is forms, and nothing can be said without someone being offended and making demands.

Where did humanity make a huge turn and suddenly got stranded in sensitive town?

I really don't get where western society is headed. :pinched:

SJWs are the racists. It's self-evident now. And their push for ideological purity resembles that of Nazism where they claim their is a racial hierarchy of one's success. These people are the scum of the earth. It hasn't been a century since the rise and fall of Nazism and these SJWs are bringing it back under a new tag. "Same ****, different story."

Without an immediate threat to their "comfy home," the bored but ever active family looks throughout the house for "problems" to nitpick.

The Simpsons stereotype everyone, because it's a cartoon show and not based on reality like we think it does. Last night's Simpsons portrayed Moe's family as the kind of people you find in New Jersey, esp of Italian descent. And where's the debate on Ned Flanders is a stereotype of Evangelical Protestant Christian, conservative Republican, affluent/upper-middle class and white straight men?

No one ever had a complain about the simpsons until the leftists began trying to monitor every single thing that occurs in daily life. Suddenly everything in the world is wrong.

In the 1960s, liberals back then began to attack movies, TV and songs for having ethnic, racial and otherwise stereotypes. In 1968-71, Frito-Lay had a Mexican cartoon character Frito Bandito and was removed due to complaints by some of the Mexican-American community for being racist and defamatory.
