Saturn return in Vedic astrology

Hello All:
I have my Saturn in Pisces in Western astrology, but placed in Capricorn in Vedic.
If I read the Vedic chart-makes way more sense as far as the life crisis to feel.
Which chart to follow?
Thanks,
Maria xoxo

Hello,

In Vedic or Western, Saturn return happens at the same time, which you certainly know.
But why is it better in Capricorn than in Pisces?

Hi Rishi-
if I follow western, then I am in Pisces. My Saturn return doesn't start yet. But if I follow Vedic, I am in Capricorn-which means I am in Saturn return right now.
So my question is: which is it?
Am I in Saturn return or not? According to Western-I wouldn't be yet.
Hope that helps rephrase the question better.
Thanks,
Maria:wink:

In my view, Saturn return occurs when transit Saturn is at the degree of natal Saturn. Give that time a grace of _+ 6 months.

Your personal query is dependant on your birth details.
Unless you let us know your birth data how can you expect anyone to tell you?

Hello Rishi-
Thank you for your input & insight. That puts a whole different perspective on things.
I think Aquarius is exalted in Saturn and makes me feel better to hear the Vedic version of my birth chart. I guess I am not going through my Saturn return in either my Vedic or my Western at this time.
Kind regards,
Maria

Hello,

You have your Saturn placed in Aquarius in Vedic & not in Capricorn as you presume.

Hello,

Your saturn return affects you between Sept 2024 to Sept 2025.

This is will be your secons Saturn return along with transit Jupiter on natal Jupiter too.

This huge transit occurs as the ending of your Saturn dasa and forebodes a life with better discipline, better home life; while the difficulties, which set your priorities away from career towards family life since 2007 moves to a different zone

You follow the chart that makes the most sense, of course.

Saturn return means transiting Saturn conjunct your natal Saturn, i.e. transiting Saturn returns to its original position in the natal chart. So in this sense, timing for tropical and sidereal is exactly the same.

Rishi,
I am going to start learning Vedic astrology now, as well.
Thank you for sharing you wisdom. I enjoy this so much.
I think astrology heals. I have lots of time to start preparing for Saturn R.
It actually sounds like a good change from you predict.
Kind thoughts and Thank you as always,
Maria

Welcome and Thanks!

Vedic astrology has the power to heal, like western astrology as well.
Only one should be able to find their journey deep enough.

My predictions in the forum, mostly past is only the tips of the iceberg.

You should also look properly into my website by clicking on the link below my signature, for any real guidance and direction, if you ever feel the need.
