Having your chart ruler Mercury conjunct Neptune in the middle of your generational Capricorn stellium and trine to the Moon in Virgo might very well indicate some Mercury and Neptune related talents. Of which writing is one.

Thanks for the input. Wouldn't my stellium also just be personal, since I've got the Sun and Mercury in Capricorn, and not so much generational?

Well, it's still generation, but will be more personal for you since you have Sun and Mercury in there.
