I hate Saturn in 10th House

I'm so young, but already I have so many dreams and ambitions, but no matter how hard I try, I come so close to certain goals, which ultimately fail. Obviously, it is the luckiest person who can get what they want without working too hard and I know that everyone has to try.
Anyways, what I read about Saturn in 10th house seems true. How can I reach my dreams with THAT placement?
Anyone else have the same experience?

I have Saturn in the 10th house, but my Saturn is in Sagittarius. It's not that bad.

Saturn in the 10th house is a challenging position for career and public image, but keep in mind that there is a prize at the end.

The key to dealing with Saturn is to figure out how to do things the right way, but it'll be a long climb. If there are failures, it is important to examine what went wrong and what can be done next time.

I have saturn wide orb conj MC like you BUT your sun is combust MC plus in Equal house that saturn is in 9th not 10th...Saturn delays but doesn't usually deny completely. It does however expect much hard work and perseverence....

Your bucket chart handle is mars which is retrograde (going backwards) which has problems taking action......

Now come on you're only 16 here how many failures can you possibly have yet??

Saturn in the 10th is dignified by being in its own House.

I don't use names for things that aren't there, such as "bucket chart" (all planets aren't on one side of the chart except 1) or "singleton" (all planets aren't in an element or modality except 1) because there are a bajillion techniques that DO put something there.

Saturn is *accidentially* dignified by being in the domicile house where saturn naturally rules

Dignity: Essential or Accidental?
There are two kinds of planetary dignity - essential and accidental. Ptolemy's table of 'essential' dignity is so named because it shows the parts of the zodiac where the traditional planets are always dignified. We consider these regions to have a fundamental relationship with the planet itself, inasmuch as Mars will always have a special association with Aries, regardless of its house position or specific location in the chart.

Don't underestimate the importance of aspect patterns, as they are important......

you'd make a wonderful enterpreneur.... basically. -could be a visionary of the new future as this is the way you think, or will be tending to think... and eventually what you kinda have to work on this or will be....
saturn is great at the midheaven... conjunct the sun means you have discipline innately and can easily work on it...
a possibly lucky streak.

have a love of things like astrology haha! and are lucky... :) jupiter is in its best sign in sagittarius. so keep optimistic always, as wisdom is something you've inherited and anything todo with reforming the religious systems down the track possibly could come easily, as you might be quite a natural at putting a new spin on it.

but also could really make a big difference in what gets called 'spirituality' but mostly left alone by us younger ones because it is such a distorted field thats now more entertainment based than anything else.

true metaphysics are completely fascinating- and the outer planets- neptune uranus and pluto -is the soul coming into the universe.... so discovering realms not dreamt of might be quite facinating... since this has started happening to me life has become much more magical....

uranus ruling aquarius, and neptune ruling pisces.... these two are major things... which is why your here. and why your so young! younger than me anyway as a 91' child.

Saturn is considered malific and wherever it's posited shows an area where we *lack confidence* have to work 10x harder to make way in life.

Saturn is the Lord of Karma and master teacher, but really he's trying to teach us about ourselves. It wants us to be responsible, hard working, dutiful and learn our Lessons properly, so they won't have to keep being repeated. Therefore, is usually suggests things slowing down, delays, limitations and restrictions so we can learn these Lessons.

What Saturn does is 'test' what is of value to you and what is working in your life. It wants structure and hard work. If something isn't working--- it may well end--- so something better can be put in it's place.

Saturn conjunct Midheaven
You are likely to be hardworking and responsible in your chosen career, as well as having fairly high ambitions. You will certainly want to achieve a certain amount of financial security, and will be prepared to work hard at building the tangibles into your life. These may well manifest more through the partner you choose than through your own individual efforts, though both are highly possible. This placement of Saturn can often coincide with setbacks early in life, a certain degree of shyness, a lack of confidence, a strict parent, perhaps a lack of emotional support or demonstrations of warmth.

Gemini Asc (along with pisces) is probably one of the most difficult in childhood. I call gemini risers the 'why children' wearing parents down asking questions, why why why. How does this work, why does that do this? sometimes I think parents 'switch off' from constant questions and then the child feel alientated, misunderstood, bit like a square peg in round hole. does this resonate?

Pisces MC suggests the *caring professions* where sacrifices are called for. the saving grace in your chart is Sun conj MC and square jupiter

having a stellium planets in 8th house needs researching..

I do not know what your dreams are, but many celebrities have Saturn in the 10th and do very well. And you are onl just starting out in life. Saturn does say that we need some patience.

However, here is what the cookbook says about this placement. Saturn in the 10th its natural house gives the native "ambition for power and advancement; the native rises above his sphere in life by steady, persevering industry."

You have no cadent planets, and Saturn, Sun and Jupiter in angular houses. In addition Jupiter rules the 10th. It is the houses that the planets rules that are important: this is what they do for you. Where they are located tells you how strong they are: they have to be effective to accomplish someting.

With angular planets ruling the 9th and 3rd houses you should learn things easily and do well in school. You may even take up teaching as an occupation. But you could go into accounting and finance. Pisces on the 10th is a very productive sign for occupation and business.

Wow...thank you for all the thorough and detailed answers! These are all great!
The thing is, I know I'm really young, but already I have big goals (and tell me if I just sound ridiculous!)
So far a couple of my goals involve agencies, which is a lot of hard work but mostly luck, I believe.

Interestingly, I am, as said above, interested in changing the world and very interested in spirituality (well I guess that's obvious since I'm on this site haha!)

Hi Urawakai, I also have Saturn in tenth and in Pisces also just like you!. I was born one month before you, i also have high goals and i am a very ambitious person. And also to remember you, that the MC is the house of the mother, so your mother migth be in one or another way restrictive or very disciplined with you or helping you and giving you a hand to achieve your goals. The difference between you and me that I have Jup conjuncting seventh house cusp :D

Problem is saturn IS malific and causes delays. I am not at all ambitious like that post, who is also very young. So it's NOT saturn that will make you ambitious. Saturn square pluto is what will make your ruthless, and hardworking and ambitious. BUT at same time not poss til mid life either

the last post michael does not have this square, but other lessons on his path.

You have venus conj neptune which is 'rose tinted glasses' in romance AND finances. Venus conj uranus is the classic divorce aspect, same with moon conj uranus, which suggests an early break with mother, friendships and relationships and an emotionally impatient and impulsive nature

Mars retrograde has really problems taking direct actions. So more research, research and reading...

this one, I have to say, I don't connect with. I had an early break with my father, but my mother is one of my best friends. Also, I'm not impatient/impulsive...at least I don't think so. Wait, I don't mean to sound critical I'm just wondering if there's any other way to interpret those aspects. and I don't wanna divorce

denotes strong intuitions. It also makes you very independent. You rebel against set ways of doing acting. High emotional tension can produce sudden impulses in your behaviour that cause difficulties. Dull routine duties are a problem for you, and these can have a damaging effect on your nervous system. You moods change rapidly, you seem irritated, and you aren't very reliable when this aspect is active. Often, you are viewed as a character and you express yourself with verve. You are popular because of your tolerance and understanding of others and your ability to see both sides of issues.

Moon conjunct Uranus
You possess an independent spirit, and you resist being labeled or pigeon-holed as a result. You are not one who is drawn to traditional roles when it comes to family, friends, and relationships. Your emotional energy vacillates, so that you can be extremely sociable, friendly, and available at times, and completely aloof, independent, and unavailable at other times. Behavioral patterns are quirky, changing, and inconsistent, and this quality is most obvious when you are at home or with family and very close friends. You need space and freedom, and situations that allow for spontaneity. Routines bore you, particularly domestic routines

Venus and Uranus suggests that you are inclined to sudden attractions. This placement gives a sparkle to your personality making you popular and socially active. It may be hard for you to stay tied to one person because your affections are so universal by nature. It's a good idea for you to give your romances the test of a little time. Avoid rushing in to marriage. If you are artistically inclined, this aspect adds a degree of originality to your work or performances.

This placement can also suggest that there is a potential to play a leading role in some department of life, whether this is recognised on a conscious level or not, the potential is there nonetheless. Others may look to you to take the initiative or to take a leading role in some way, certainly circumstances are likely to arise that present opportunities for the development of that potential. It helps enormously if you have some idea that this hidden potential is just waiting to be cultivated and developed to its full potential. You are not meant to play the role of a wallflower in this life with this placement, but to seek opportunities from which you can shine out there in the eyes of the world.

Urawakai,
Whenever considering Saturn in your chart, it will only be a complete picture if you take its aspects into account as well as sign and house. If your considering Saturn in regards to work, the square with Jupiter will to a large degree influence this, since Saturn is in Pisces (coruled by Jupiter), Jupiter is powerful in its domicile sign and is in the 6th (the house of service).. and the square is relatively tight orb.

Squares represent two ways of acting that interfere with eachothers expression.
Cafeastro says of this square:
Jupiter square Saturn: *You have an inner conflict between idealism, hope, and faith in the future versus doubt and oppression by limitations and practical realities. You need to develop discipline and patience in order to achieve your aspirations. You will grow by learning to accept frustration and to persevere in spite of obstacles.

I'd say that your chart definitely shows a potential to persevere in this fashion, however this will only ultimately be fulfilling if what you are striving towards is something more than JUST financial security or success. You're chart definitely shows a need to bring those lofty ideals about the way things should be into reality. You may have to work really hard to achieve your highest aspirations but if you do end up succeeding in doing a work greater than yourself you will be a complete person in the end.
